For those of you that don’t know me, my name is Erica Ash. I am a local artist and mother. Originally from Parkersburg, WV, but became an official Killbuckian 3 years ago when we moved into the old hardware store on the town square, and became a member of the Killbuck Council.

I have been painting the village business windows for some time now, but was able to expand onto the road for Early American Days!
I want to say thank you to the community, council, and the businesses for all your loving support of my artwork!

This community has been so supportive of not just me, but of the arts and other artists. This is proven through the beautiful display of Ruston Baker ‘s art at the Village Museum. I was blessed to know Rusty for a few years before we officially moved here. He was a great artist, and I wish I could have spent more time getting to know him and his work.

I want to say thanks to Killbuck Village, Snow Side Restaurant, The Duncan Theater & Event Center, Killbuck Valley Thrift, and Killbuck Valley Market for funding the mural in the street for Early American Days. I also want to give a special thanks to Steve Patterson, and Brooke Landon for all their help during the process.

We have such a great, supportive, community here!
I am blessed to be apart of it.

Look for this 500lbs stained glass crab at BWI airport at the end of Skywalk A, overlooking Security Checkpoint A and the Southwest Air ticketing area. This amazing work is titled "Callinectes Douglassi" and was produced by Jackie Leatherbury Douglass of Shady Side, MD. Jackie passed away this morning. Our hearts are with her family and friends at this time. ❤️
