Parma Message of the Cross
Spirit-filled, Pentecostal, Bible-based Church located in Parma, Ohio
What should our relationships reflect as disciples of Jesus? How are we to conduct ourselves towards others, now that we’re born again? Join us this morning as we spend time together ministering on our conduct and actions as Christians.
Trust and faith is all the Lord desires for us to have. Whether it’s for a physical, financial, or spiritual need, our responsibility isn’t to try and meet the need ourselves. We are to simply trust God, and He will supply.
When we give to the work of God, whether it’s our finances, our time, our talents etc…. We can be assured that He will supply our every need. Let’s give with joy and thanksgiving!
In the midst of the difficulties in life- the hardships, the confusion, the hurts, the offenses. When it seems like the waves all around us are crashing in and we’re going to be overtaken and go under; we must keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. He will lead us through our storms, and bring us safely to the other side.
Go back, and get caught up tonight on our 2 Corinthians study!
“The Lord is near to the broken hearted”.
In spite of what sorrow, hardship and difficulties you’re facing, God promises us He is always near. Let’s turn to Him this morning to heal our wounds, dry our tears, and lift us up.
There is no Wednesday evening live stream service tonight, we apologize for the inconvenience!
There is no live stream service this morning, we apologize for the inconvenience. Please join us later this week for service!
Are we using what the Lord has blessed us with to help meet the needs of others? In life, our actions speak much louder than words, and as believers our actions should be motivated by our love for God and a love for others. The way we conduct ourselves is on display for all others to see. What are they seeing?
Don’t be deceived! The same way you started in Christ, is the same way you continue to grow in Christ. It’s all by your simple faith in what He did for you at the cross. Changing us into the image of Jesus is what the Bible refers to as sanctification, and it’s the job of the Holy Spirit, not us.
What sorrow and heaviness sin has on those it effects, but what joy and unity repentance brings! At times, the Lord may use you to take a strong stance to speak for what is right, and speak out against what is wrong. However, we must have the same heart Paul displays here, where we long to see others who are in error restored, and reconciled to God, and to others.
Will You Trust Him? Some of us may be facing situations that don’t seem to make any sense. Maybe it’s a physical ailment, maybe a financial struggle, or maybe a marriage that is on the verge of divorce. God had given the Israelites a peculiar battle plan to bring down the walls of Jericho, that on the surface didn’t seem to make any sense. Maybe what you’re facing and what God is telling you to do doesn’t seem to make any sense either. However, God isn’t expecting we always understand everything He does, He expects us to just trust Him!
What is sanctification? Is this a word you’re familiar with? It’s important to understand what the Bible says about this work, and how it applies to the lives of all believers. This process of becoming more like Christ is a lifelong journey, that we can lean into, or lean away from. Join us this morning as we discuss this!
Show me your friends, and I’ll show you your future, I was once told. We have to ask ourselves- As believers, who are we surrounding ourselves with? Is it others who will lift us up in the faith? Tonight as we study 2 Corinthians, Gods Word teaches us that we must be very careful with who we have close relationships with.
We apologize for no live stream this Sunday morning. Please join us Wednesday evening as we continue our study in 2 Corinthians!
Are you tired of failing the Lord? We know personally the shame and guilt we feel as believers whenever we fail and sin. However, it doesn’t have to be that way! Today, we’ll talk about how the Holy Spirit gives us the power to live a life of victory on a daily basis.
How do we conduct ourselves when we face mistreatment from others? How do we respond when others lie about us, or slander our names? Tonight, we’ll discuss how the Holy Spirit empowers us to extend love and compassion towards others when we’re mistreated.
Will you be made whole? A question Jesus asked the man at the pool of Bethesda, and a question He is still asking today. This morning, let’s read how Jesus can do more in one moment, then others can do in a lifetime.
As believers, we must understand that we cannot live a life that is pleasing to the Lord by our own will power or abilities. We NEED the help of the Holy Spirit everyday to walk out our relationship with the Lord. Join us as we discuss the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
It’s said that home is where the heart is. As Christians, our home is in heaven, not this world. Yet it’s so easy to become consumed, weighed down, and many times discouraged by the daily tasks of life. As we study 2 Corinthians tonight, let’s come back to storing our treasures in heaven, and be encouraged that heaven awaits us!
A cry of faith, is a cry that Christ will always respond to. This morning, join us as we read about a mother’s desperate cry for her daughter, and the response Jesus has.
Join us as we begin a unique approach on studying Romans. We hope through this study on the message of the cross, you will better understand exactly what Christ has done for you, and the freedom that He desires for each one of us!
