Memories of Aswan, Egypt. Thoroughly enjoyed the moment smoking ho**ah and drinking Turkish coffee in a small shop in a random alley. We also walked the local market and drank freshly squeezed cane juice.
Beaver Falls, one of the popular falls in Havasupai. Totally worth going there. Skipped it last year, but not this year. Water feels amazing after a long hike.
Hiking down onto Mooney Falls using the shadiest rusted chains, oldest wooden ladders and slipperiest stone steps. I had the “Tengo Miedo” meme playing in my head the whole time. May have said it under my breath a couple times. 😅
17 miles into the Grand Canyon and you can find the confluence. The merging of the blue waters of the Havasupai creek and the Colorado river. The energy here is awesome! One of my fa favorite places. My second time here, first in the water. And I hope to come back as many times as possible throughout my life.
Happy birthday to my little sister very proud of her growth and accomplishments at such a young age. From our hot air balloon ride in Egypt over the valley of the kings. She was also afraid, but overcame her fears and now wants to hot air balloon around the world. Second pic is from Philae Temple in Aswan just before the night light show.
Feliz cumpleaños a la mejor mamá del mundo! I also really like this picture. Her bucket list was to read a book ON one of the pyramids. And she did it. And also INSIDE a pyramid as well. Swipe 👉🏼 😅 ?
Happy birthday to my mom! 🎉🥳🎈🍾 Margarita the tamale 🫔 and plant 🪴 queen! 👸🏽 One of my favorite shots of her from out Egypt trip. Hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings and queens. She thought she was going to be super scared, but was the first one to get on the edge of the basket and peek over. Feliz cumpleaños! 🎂🎉🎊 ✅
Egypt Day 1 - Karnak Temple. More column shots from Karnak Temple. Loved this place. We got here early and had some spots to ourselves at times. It was awesome!
Egypt Day 1 - Karnak Temple. Just this temple alone was worth the trip. It is MASSIVE with Columns, hieroglyphics, and sphinx statues everywhere. Construction began around 1970 BC. So making some parts over 4,000 years old! To see it so well preserved was mind blowing. Definitely felt unreal.
After taking it on nearly all my trips of the past few years and racking up a few thousand miles. This Super Nachos Vinylmation decided to call Egypt home. I gave it to our awesome tour guide because he and Egypt were that impactful. Also, jet lag is no joke. 🥹
Lost count of all the bucket list items I checked off in Egypt, and some I didn’t even know I had. But riding a camel 🐪 by the Giza Pyramids was definitely one of my favorites.
And Egypt 🇪🇬 is a wrap! A trip we’ve dreamed about for over 20+ years. And one we will talk about for 20+ more. Thank you from for making us feel safe, at home and giving us a vacation we could have only dreamed about. 🙏🏽 We truly felt like family with Mohamed. Highly recommend visiting Egypt! Till next time, next year? Many more pics to come!
Cruising the Nile. This trip has opened my eyes and mind in more ways than I would have imagined. Day 1 alone was worth it. Definitely a trip of a lifetime, I’m hoping to come back again. The memories formed with my family are priceless to say the least. 👌🏽There will be many many more pics to come once I get decent signal. Definitely feels good to unplug though. And a few more adventures to do.
Every day in Egypt has been breathtaking. An absolute must do in your bucket list. Strolling through the Karnak Temple here. The largest temple and the one with the most columns, it was just mind blowing! #2024
Thank you everyone for all the birthday wishes. Text, calls, FaceTimes, DM’s, slacks, carrier pigeons and smoke signals. 🙏🏽 Truly made my day and weekend. This has really been my best year yet from hikes into the Grand Canyon, a couple triathlons and countless other memories with a lot of you. Feeling blessed! A big salud to the last year and the one to come! 🍻🥃
Some shots from Big Tree State Park during my Thanksgiving trip with the parentals. One of my favorite state parks. Not as busy as Yosemite or sequoia but with trees just as big.
This was some pretty cool news. A picture I took from one of my hikes was published in the Waterfall Atlas of the United States. I guess I’m a published photographer now and can check that off the bucket list. 😅. Specifically Cedar Creek Falls down in the San Diego area. It’s a pretty cool hike with some sorta hidden pools above the falls. Get yourself a copy of it through ! Swipe to see the original and a couple other shots from there.
And another triathlon is in the books. I pushed myself hard af, took me about 30 mins to feel normal again. Knocked off 20-25 mins from my swim, and had a solid bike ride. The run killed me. But it feels damn good to be on the other side. Shout out to my Paramount Tri teammates Paul and Matt for the tips, cheering and encouragement throughout the race.
Life is like hitting a piñata 🪅. You just gotta keep swinging, even if blindfolded, till you get the candy. Professional sw***er here. 😅 Way too many people wanted some candy last night at the Magic Castle. 🏰 What a fun experience, and about the only picture I took there.
T-3 days till Malibu Triathlon! First one in many many years, and it was almost canceled. Haven’t been so focused on something in a good while and training for it has been awesome! From sleep, breath work, swimming, running, cycling and lots and lots of discipline of staying in. 😅. It’s made me better all around. 🙏🏽 Can’t wait for Saturday and Sunday!
with the parentals and sis at Grutas de Tolantongo a year ago today. Perhaps the happiest I’ve ever seen them. My mom got in the water even though she didn’t know how to swim. And my dad said it was better than the beaches. Can’t wait for our next trip!
First time in an office in 3.5 years, and first time in a Paramount+ Office. 😅 Felt like the first day of school. 🤣 + ? ?
Swim training for Malibu Triathlon benefitting Children’s Hospital LA has begun! 🏊🏼♂️ Maybe I should have started earlier. 😅 Forgot how hard it is. I did notice my running improve even after one swim session.

Huge congratulations to my good friend and wingman of many years on your marriage to Rachelle! It makes me happy to see you two flourish and excited to see what is to come from this next chapter of your lives together. Salud to your adventure! 🥂 ? 😅
Mentally still here, but thinking where to next? Going down into Mooney falls kinda reminded me of hiking up Angels Landing in Zion, with all the slippery chains to hold onto on the steep cliff. But reward was totally worth it. Just go nice and slow. Swipe to see the other side of the cave and the shady wooden ladders to go down.
I think this is where I found myself... 😅 Jk. Came across these dope waterfalls on the way back from the the confluence. They look like Beaver Falls, but these are more easily accessible and closer to camp.
Coming back from the confluence and we passed through this field of vines. But something on my peripheral vision caught my attention. Swipe to see what it was. And try to spot it before swiping. 😉 🐏
Perhaps one of my favorite views of all time. This is the back side of the previous post. Havasupai creek just as it enters the Colorado river and Grand Canyon. It felt as if being in the cover of a National Geographic magazine. Second pic is a sign showing the boundary between Grand Canyon national park and Havasupai Tribal Lands. 🤯
Some shots from last weeks 9.5 mi training hike up inspiration point and back. I was inspired... 😅 and surprised how much energy I had after. Feeling good! Also it was pretty cool to see the clouds come in and be above them. Can’t wait for more views like this. My favorite!
Accidentally walked by a superbloom on todays hike. 7.4 miles in the Cleveland Forest. Peep the stories or DM me for exact hike. This one is pretty low key, not well traveled and pretty hard the first 1.5 miles. But the views were totally worth it!!! Perhaps on my top 10 in the LA area, for the views alone. Will definitely be coming back.
