Been struggling with COVID this past week. Let me tell you this shot will shake you a little. So happy to be feeling better.

On a side note, I woke up craving ice cream at 6am. I opened my freezer and enjoyed a good chunk because oh boy! this body went to battle for me.

If spring could speak she would be proud.

If you’re like me then you know how it feels like to chase perfection and always hit a road block. It’s easier to say “Perfection does not exist” than to live intentionally knowing it does not.

Lately I’ve been falling more in love with myself and the things I do because I’ve given myself grace to fail and to get it wrong.

I still have the occasional “you know better”, you can do better, beat myself about it the whole day.

Here is something I changed, I set a reminder on my phone every hour to remind me that:

- Perfection does not exist.
- I am doing okay
- Allow room for grace
- You are enough.
- Don’t forget to drink water.

These little reminders help me create little pockets of joy through my day. It has also helped my mind understand that perfection does not exist.
