The “BE” women’s ministry mentors, teaches, and encourages women to live their legacy. An environment where women “BE”!
Our goal is to unite women for a common goal, mutual acceptance, unbreakable bond and unconditional love. We want to build women up spiritually, emotionally, and physically. We want to encourage women to become all that God has already called them to be. And last, but not least, we want to build them to ignite their passion and pursue their God-Given purpose. ASK MY SISTER: Psalm 46:5 God is within her; she will not fall.
What encouraging words would you share to inspire other women?
Four inspirations from some phenomenal women.
1. "I just love bossy women. I could be around them all day. To me, bossy is not a pejorative term at all. It means somebody’s passionate and engaged and ambitious and doesn’t mind leading." — Amy Poehler
2. "Each time a woman stands up for herself, without knowing it possibly, without claiming it, she stands up for all women." — Maya Angelou
3. "The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don’t have any." — Alice Walker
4. "Find out who you are and do it on purpose." — Dolly Parton
ASK MY SISTER??? In effort to highlight our personal history what experience or who in your family has made an impact on black history? Please share your story below. I'll start... my grandmother was the NAACP secretary for 30 years in Ohio. She shared the importance of community to make a difference with me. My grandfather is listed in the 1950 book Who's who in colored America, he was the first black man to receive a BA degree in social work.
ASK MY SISTER? How do you equip yourself to face the challenges you are facing in your life today? Pastor Jon preached “The Blessing of the Wounded Worshiper” God will take you to your victory through your pain. Worship can help open your heart and mind to allow you to hear from God in this season. Worship isn't just a song it is also present in your daily day living. Are you living a life of Karaoke worship? My sister, when was the last time you “Worship”?
ASK MY SISTER? Be ENCOURAGED – Why is my faith strong in one area but not as strong in others? I trust God to keep me healthy but be afraid to tithe. I believe God with help me with my children but do not take the issues on my job to him. As we reset remember to give it all to God! He is here for us in every area of our lives and in every situation!
The scripture reads in Philippians 4:6–7 — The New International Version (NIV) 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus
ASK MY SISTER? - When you were young and getting ready to cross the street, someone held your hand. When you went swimming for the first time someone guided and stayed with you. When you learned how to drive there was someone instructing you. You are not alone. Scripture reads: Mathew 7:24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wiseman who built his house on the rock. Consecration time you send with God is important. When you spend time with God remember he is holding your hand, guiding you, always with you, and instructing you. When was the last time you set aside intentional time with God?
ASK MY SISTER? Real Estate location matters! Would you choose a mansion in an unsafe neighborhood or a single-family home in a safe neighborhood?
The scripture reads …John 15:5 (NLT) “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.
This week, I encourage you to take some time to pray and ask God to show you where he wants to be. Review, reflect and revise the areas in your life. In this season 2022 remember God is still in control!
ASK MY Sister! Do you remember when you first saw the light? When did you realize God has created you for a purpose? In this season, no matter what is going on God’s vision and plan for you is still there. Bishop White said “Finish Strong” Matthew 5:14 You are the light of the world. A Town built on a hill cannot be hidden. There are 6 days remaining in 2021, How are you going to re-focus your light to make sure you finish strong?

ASK MY SISTER?...Time! Are you wasting it? My sisters there is a thief amongst us! Sometimes it disguises its self in procrastination, frustration, fear, pain, broken dreams and promises, missed deadlines, misunderstandings, unforgiveness, anger, heart ache and depression to name a few.
The scripture, Colossians 4:5 (AMP) Conduct yourself with wisdom in your interactions with outsiders (non-believers), making the most of each opportunity (treating it as something special)
Sisters I encourage you to make the most of your life and not allow anything to keep you from what God has for you. Let’s not miss out on the new career, new outlook on life, motivation to improve yourself or stepping into what God has designed for you! Remember Philippians 4:13 I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME!

ASK MY Sister...This time the question is for YOU! How do you begin to pick up the pieces after a crisis?
ASK MY SISTER? Happy Mother’s Day to ALL Mothers! You may not have given birth to a child, you can still be a mother. Moses’ mother, Jochebed, was a Hebrew woman living in slavery in Egypt before the exodus. She was the daughter of a Levite, and she married Amram, another Levite (Exodus 2:1). Moses was born during a troubled time for the Israelites in Egypt. The king had decreed that midwives were to kill all Hebrew boys when they were born, leaving only the girls alive. The Hebrew midwives refused to participate in the infanticide and deceived Pharaoh so they could avoid killing the baby boys (Exodus 1:17–19). Moses’ mother Jochebed hid Moses in a basket of bulrushes and set him afloat on the Nile River to preserve his life (Exodus 2:3). Even Pharaoh’s own daughter disobeyed the decree when she found Moses in the basket and took pity on him, adopting him as her own child (Exodus 2:5–10). Moses was raised as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, and it was also Pharaoh’s daughter who named him. Jochebed, in an astonishing example of God’s providence and mercy, became Moses’ nurse and was paid by the king for her service (Exodus 2:7–9).
Thank you mothers for the love you share!
ASK MY SISTER? Question: How do I get close to God when I make choices that I know he would not approve of?
Response: The question is a strong indication that you are being convicted by Holy Spirit. You have to decide if you really want to have a close relationship with the Lord. If you do, repentance is in order. Genuine repentance requires a change of heart and a decision to make different choices; choices that honor the Lord. You may have to put aside those things and/or people that keep you at a distance from Him. (Consider your circle of influence. Are those closest to you making choices that honor Him?) Remember, The Lord is near to those who have a sincere heart. So draw near to Him through His Word and Prayer and follow up with better choices.
Scripture: Psalm 145:18; James 4:8; Hebrews 10:22; Phil 4: 13
Prayer: Dear Lord, I admit that I have not made choices that honor you. Forgive me. Today, I choose to change; to honor you with my words and my actions, Holy Spirit I need your help. Give me wisdom to know how to reverse what I can and the strength to stop doing those things that are not of you. Thank you for your word that tells me that I can do all things with your help. Amen.
Ask My Sister?
Observation: I saw a one hundred dollar bill on the ground in a store. I watched as people stepped on it (that didn’t see it), I thought to myself the person who lost it either didn’t protect it, did know it was gone or dropped it by accident. I could tell it was dirty from what it’s been through in the past and going through currently. When I picked it up and gave it to the store manager it was torn a little too.
Response: Even though that bill had gone through all of that it was still worth $100! Just like that $100 has gone through somethings, you may be going through somethings. It doesn’t matter what the bill went through, it was still worth $100! The federal reserve determined it’s worth. The money can still be used to do good. I want to remind you that no matter what you are going through, you're still worth it to God! He determined your worth when he created you. It’s not determined by what you have been through or what you're currently going through! God You are valuable to God and he will be there for you.
Scripture: Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Prayer: My heavenly father, thank you for creating me. I ask that you help me to remember my worth. Help me to remember that what I am going through and what I may have been through is not who I am. I thank you for the protection and the comfort in my dark times. I thank you for the strength and covering as I move in this season of my life. All these things in Jesus name Amen.
