Words of wisdom from CDB Scholar, Ben! 🚪

Every year, the graduating class of CDB scholars give their senior speeches at Bradley Seminar.

Topics run the gamut, ranging from dinosaurs to doors, but all show their growth as a CDB Scholar.

They've made us laugh, cry, and question whether having a crisis at the age of 16 can be considered a mid-life crisis.

We are so proud of each and every one of our scholars and can't wait to see which doors they choose to walk through.

Yunasa is truly a unique, loving community 💛 As Yunasa alum Jasmine put it, "it was a space where I could really bring my whole self and just learn from all the kids around me and just be so welcomed as who I was, which is really wonderful." Be your true, gifted self at Yunasa 💛 Many traditional programs for gifted youth focus solely on intellectual abilities, overlooking the need for these children to grow in all aspects of their lives. Yunasa supports the whole gifted child, encouraging growth and support of campers intellectually, socially, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. "Yunasa provided a great sense of belonging for our family as a whole and for our camper. It’s hard to describe the peace and confidence you just know in your soul that this is the right place for your child. Our daughter replied emphatically, without pause, that she wants to return next year. This is a group of very special people; from the leaders and counselors down to the campers themselves. We are very thankful for Yunasa!" - Yunasa Parent Make your plans for an amazing camp experience! Vishnu Mangipudi IEA Story
What does IEA inspire in you? ✨ For Vishnu Mangipudi, a Class of 2026 Caroline D. Bradley Scholar, IEA has inspired in him “a sense of responsibility to pay it forward and make a difference in my community.” He has volunteered teaching math and science for the North South Foundation Seattle Chapter and Seattle Science Infinity; created STEAM Aspirations, a platform designed to help fill gaps in students' knowledge of math, science, and coding; and even used his skills in the visual arts and testified at his local city council to advocate for environmental justice and sustainable practices. For many of our students IEA is a second home. 🏡 For Emma Hermacinski, a former Yunasa camper of eight years and a 2017 Caroline D. Bradley Scholarship alumna, IEA is magical community that has changed the course of her life. Through IEA programs, Emma made amazing friends with peers just like her, learned to think within and outside of herself and found a second home in which she can get pep talks and support at any stage of her life. She has hundreds of vibrant stories to tell, none of which would have been realized without IEA. Watch Emma tell us her story in the video below. For 20 years, the Caroline D. Bradley Scholarship has been a tight knit community. #CDB20

This year marks 20 years of the Caroline D. Bradley Scholarship! What better way to recognize this milestone than from hearing from the scholars themselves?

We're in-between Academy sessions now and preparing for an exciting third part to our summer programming. Here's a look at a fun, hands-on learning experience last week: launching water and pressure powered rockets!
