Did you know that Qi (our vital energy) and Blood work together and never separate? According to Chinese medicine, Qi moves Blood and Blood nourishes Qi.

Blood in TCM
🩸functions: a Yin substance that nourishes and moistens our entire body. It also supplies the basis for our mental activities.
🩸originates: produced by the Spleen and Stomach and food and also the Kidney essence formed in the Heart.

When the Blood is plentiful and nourished, the body is healthy! Digestion, immunity, and mental function are strong. When you eat to nourish the Blood, you’re eating to please the functioning of the Spleen system. In Chinese medicine, the Stomach and Spleen are the root of our health, in western terms it is like saying that everything starts in our gut. The better our digestion, the stronger and better the flow of our Blood and energy (Qi) are.

How to help?
📍 Begin your day with Ginger Power tea to promote circulation, detoxification, and the flow of Blood and Qi.
📍 Add Blood Builder tincture to your routine, especially if you are vegetarian.

- Darkly leafy greens, spirulina all promote healthy and ample Blood.
- Include a large variety of foods, especially vegetables of what’s in season.
