Our South Atlanta location opened in Oct of 2022 and we have rapidly grown our client base through the hardwork and dedication of our team. We are excited to be promoting our Audi Master technician to an advisor role and are looking for an experienced master technician with either Audi or Porsche experience to fill his position.

Roles and Responsibilities:
+ Perform inspection, diagnosis, service, and repair on German automobiles.
+ Work with service writing staff to document all work and provide complete work needs of the vehicle to the customer.

Required Qualifications:
+ Minimum of 5 years of work experience on Audi or Porsche Automobiles -- Factory training or direct brand work experience required.
+ Understanding of OTIS and/or PIWIS3
+ Mechanical aptitude, and a clear understanding of automotive technology, function, and design. In-depth knowledge of suspension, braking, exhaust, turbo, electrical, and engine/drivetrain system design and engineering principles.
+Must be skilled with hand tools, as we primarily don't use air tools.
+ Flexible and teamwork-oriented attitude. Must work well with others in a professional and positive way. No big egos or "never wrong" attitudes, please.
+ Ability to follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail. + Ability to follow and embrace policies and procedures to ensure consistent department function and quality.
+ Passionate determination for what benefits the customer and the company as a whole, team player, and customer-focused.
+ Perform detailed records of work done, digitally and on paper.

Recently, we completed a full engine replacement on a 2014 Audi Q5!

The vehicle first came in due to the fuel pressure system being too high. After replacing the G247 high pressure fuel sensor, it was noted that there was a possibility of the fuel pump regulator valve failing.

Once the vehicle was test-driven, it was also noted that the engine was consuming large amounts of oil, which prompted us to recommend a full engine replacement to the customer. Having an engine that consumes unreasonable amounts of oil is a major inconvenience and certainly a headache to deal with!

After we were given the greenlight, we proceeded with the engine replacement process, which consisted of dropping the old one out, transferring accessories and components to the new block, and replacing the necessary gaskets and sealants.

The engine replacement was a lengthy process, however, this Q5 will be prepared for whatever comes next!

This Audi Q5 came to us due to a drivability concern as the engine had an egregious misfire. We were able to service this vehicle using our Audi factory tools and diagnostic equipment!

As we further investigated this issue, we found damage to the exhaust camshaft as well as the roller rockers for cylinder 4. In addition, one of the intake valve springs on cylinder 3 collapsed, causing a valve spring failure.

In the end, we installed new fuel injectors, APR coil packs, a brand new exhaust cam, new valve springs, retainers, and seals!

Working hard on a Wednesday

▪️ 2015 originally here for an alignment, upon inspection we found a damaged tie rod and wheel bearing which we are replacing, along with a brake fluid flush and new valve cover gaskets
▪️ 2022 undergoing and diagnosis of a check engine light
▪️ 2020 just got prepped for a full before application of MAX G+
▪️ Chasing down an unidentified noise coming from the front end of this 2019 . The culprit is likely sway bar end links or strut top mounts, but further investigation is required
▪️ #991 transmission is out to replace the rear main seal along with other to prepare for in a few short weeks
▪️ that received front end is back again for a paint correction on the rest of the car before application of ceramic coating to the entire exterior

A longtime client of ours was experiencing some issues with his 2019 Land Rover , and the persistent oil leak and warning lights on the dash warranted investigation.

After diving into a thorough multipoint inspection and diagnostic service, we found the source of the oil leak to be a valve cover gasket, prompting a reseal. This included valve cover gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, intake plenum gaskets, and fuel injector seals.

This was only one part of the complete solution. We also found the source of the warning lights to be the EVAP system, namely the PCV vent flaps, purge control solenoid, and leak detection pump. All components were replaced and fault codes were cleared.

We couldn’t let it leave without being cleaner than it came in, so the car was treated to a full and a package of Griot's Garage car care products for maintenance washes between visits to our shop, as well as System X Ceramic Protection wheel to keep the condition as pristine as possible.

Experienced Automotive Service Advisor

The service advisor role focuses on the maintenance side of vehicle performance. You will review the manufacturers maintenance schedules and technicians inspection reports to communicate to our clients the needs of their vehicles. The advisor is in charge of building the detailed estimate with current services needed and suggests future recommendations. You will explain the services needed at that time as well as provide a timeline for the upcoming services. All suggested repairs must be accompanied by visual documentation such as pictures of brake pad life with a measurement based on percentage of new. This way a customer has factual data on the condition of their vehicle components.

Our advisors are then in charge of ordering the parts needed to complete the job. The advisor creates the purchase order and corresponds with the vendor or places the order through an e-commerce style online account. We do have a parts specialist that then handles the checking in and staging of the parts for the advisor but the advisor must be very thorough and good at multi-tasking to make sure that parts arrive in a timely manner.

Our main forms of communication are via email and phone as well as text messaging through the shop management program. Each advisor has a direct extension which can be forwarded to the advisors cell phone. This is done with an app that allows the call to be placed on hold and transferred as through a normal business phone. Ultimately, this provides the advisor ultimate connectivity to our clients while allowing them to switch off during personal time.
