It’s been such a long time since I’ve posted here. The last few months have been so busy 😅. I was asked last weekend if I’ve baked anything lately and I had to stop and think the last time I actually baked. It’s been too long. I hope y’all had a great summer! ☀️

I am hoping to be able to slowly start taking a few orders soon. I am starting to plan out my fall menu. I can’t believe it’s even time to start thinking about fall.. but I am ready! Happy Saturday, friends! Today I spent over 6 hours in the kitchen doing a cake order, and I loved it. I’ve missed being in the kitchen. I don’t think people realize just how much work goes into cakes or owning a baking business. It’s a lot of work. You have to love it because if you don’t, it probably wouldn’t be worth it. For me, it’s 100% worth it. Being in the kitchen baking is my happy place. ✨🤍🎂

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted over here. Life has been crazy the last few months. I’ve had to take a step back from baking, not because I wanted to, but I felt like I needed to. I like to keep this page strictly baking related, so I usually don’t share “life things” on here, but I just feel like taking a break from baking is something I have to do right now. I am still baking, just not as much. It was very hard for me to do this because baking is something I love more than anything, but it’s something I have to do.. for now. eventually I will get back to taking orders, I’m not going anywhere and neither is Simply Sweet Treats! I will still share things in here.
