Meet the Therapist - Genielle Burrows, LMHC
Genielle has been in the human services field helping people to achieve their personal goals for over 17 years. She has served her clients in the roles of social worker, parent educator, and mental health counselor. Thanks to these diverse experiences, Genielle has a wealth of knowledge and even larger wealth of empathy and compassion. As a therapist of color and life-long ally, Genielle is particularly attuned to the needs of minority clients, including women, people of color, and the LGBTQIA+ community . Genielle is an Alum of Dickinson College where she earned a BA in Psychology and Nova Southeastern University where she earned a MS in Counseling Psychology and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society membership. Genielle's qualifications also include being an EMDR trained therapist and a TF-CBT Certified Therapist. Genielle treats Adults, adolescents, and families, and is known to her clients as being very down to earth, caring, and professional.
