Today I experienced the heart-wrenching loss of my beloved Oma. She embodied strength and kindness, always willing to go above and beyond for others. Leaving her homeland of Germany, she courageously followed my Opa to the United States in search of a brighter future. In my heart, she will forever be remembered as a master baker and cook, unsurpassed in skill. Whenever I was in her presence, my sole mission was to bring as much laughter and joy to her as possible. In her honor, I have created a poignant image of us holding hands for the final time. Her hands symbolize a lifetime of hard work and a wisdom that surpassed her years. May you rest in eternal peace, dear Oma.
