Pedal With a Purpose
A vintage bicycle ride to benefit Alzheimer's and Dementia disease.
Our 1st bike ride with Pedal With a Purpose to support Alzheimer's Association.
Hey, friends! Our first bike ride, Pedal With a Purpose, for the Alzheimer's Association turned out fantastic! Being our first year, we had a small group but everyone had so much fun that it has been decided next year will be even bigger and better.
The antique bike display was amazing and so many people stopped, viewed the bikes, listened to the history and were so impressed. The bottled water and delicious granola mix made and donated by Trefzger's was a special treat for everyone.
We appreciate all the sponsors, volunteers and supporters who helped make this 1st event successful. People even stopped to share their stories of their loved ones.
Robert (Bob) Fussner and Jody Summers planned and hosted this event to honor their mothers, Sande Fussner and Marian Reiser who both passed away with Dementia. They were happy that they exceeded the goal they set!! All proceeds from this event goes directly to the Alzheimer's Association.
If you would like to be notified of the event next year please comment or message us.

Jody Summers and Robert Fussner are childhood friends who both enjoy bicycling so decided to host a vintage bicycle ride to benefit Alzheimer's and Dementia disease in honor of their mothers.
Many people's lives are touched by Alzheimer's and Dementia in one way or a other. All proceeds from the event stay in Illinois for research and support. This is a great way to honor those lost or currently dealing with this disease.
