It's official! Kayden Hudson has been named a United Soccer Coaches All-American! He is 1 of just 80 high school boys soccer players from across the country to receive this award and 1 of only 8 that are not seniors.

Kayden will be recognized for his accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony & Reception on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.

For the second year in a row, junior forward Kayden Hudson has been named the Peoria Journal Star Boys Soccer Player of the Year! Since the POY award was created in 1991, a PND player has received it 24 out of the past 33 seasons.

Theodore Dimler (Sr, GK), Thomas Graham (Sr, D), Thatcher Hogan (Jr, M), and Maximillian Matarelli (Jr, M) joined Kayden on the All-Area team. Fabi Arellano (Sr, D) was recognized as an Honorable Mention.

Fun night at the Senior All-Star Game hosted by IVC! Senior defender Tommy Graham played as a forward and scored both goals for the Peoria Big 12 / Independents sending the game to penalties where Tommy converted the opening kick and Teddy Dimler saved two penalties helping their team to the win!

Peoria Notre Dame boys soccer wraps 'incredible season' with loss in IHSA state title match Peoria Notre Dame fell short of its sixth state championship when it lost to Crystal Lake South in the Class 2A championship game Saturday in Hoffman Estates.

Not the result we wanted, but a lot to be proud of. Finished the season 22-2-3 with only 1 loss to a team from Illinois, Big 12 Champion, and Class 2A State Runner-Up. Congrats to Crystal Lake South on a well played game.

For those back home that are looking for a place to watch the game!

Today at 4:30 Donnelly’s will be showing on 75 in TV PND Soccer team vying for back to back State Titles. Game time 4:30. $5 Guinness and $3 Miller Light Drafts. And of course Donnelly’s delicious food. Stop in. GO IRISH!

How Peoria Notre Dame played its way to another IHSA state championship game Peoria Notre Dame will play for its sixth boys soccer state title after a 2-0 victory over Burbank St. Laurence in the IHSA semifinals in Hoffman Estates.
