Draper Glass was established in 2009. Today August 30th, also holds a special place in Jeremie and her brother AJ's heart, as it is Momma Jeri's 1st Heavenly Birthday. We wish to rejoice with you in this show and remind you how precious life is and how quickly time goes by. A Very Special Thanks to every customer that has ever stepped into the studio or made a purchase, the donors, J. Draper Glass staff & their families, contractors, landlords, Jeremie's mentors, teachers, family & friends. This slide show is dedicated to Jeremie's parents Allen & Jeri Draper for their life long support, love and encouragement.

🔥Ooey gooey glass hot enough to rake! 'Raking' is an ancient technique that involves pulling a tool or 'rake' through molten glass to create a feathered effect. 🔥First, a wrap of color is added over a mass of glass, it is then heated to an almost liquid and raked to pull the wrap into a draping design. 🔥Raking is a great way to add an elegant flare to glass ~ a favorite technique here at J. Draper Glass! ✨We are currently open for retail Thursdays-Saturdays 9-1 & you can also shop our website~~~ www.jdraperglass.com 🧡Don't forget to sign up for our newsletter so you can be the first to hear about fall & winter classes!! #rakedglass #glassvase #irisgold #cobalt #emerald #blownglass #rakingtechnique

New trough
Check out the newest addition to our hot shop! This is a water trough built by Andrew Sledd, a woodworker, and Jeremie's husband. He crafted this 6' trough using Birch and Cherrywood showing the beauty of each of these species. The inside is sealed to be waterproof. This fancy trough now holds all of our wooden blocks and molds. These tools require constant soaking in water. It has a drain so we can empty & fill it by keeping it in place. And it’s on wheels so we can move it around as we please. We are so thrilled to have another woodwork of art by Andrew. Thank you!
