There will be 24 horse themed ducks hidden throughout Downtown Perry to celebrate NBHA Youth World Championship being in town! If you find a duck, complete the QR code form attached or take it to the Welcome Center at 808 Carroll Street to receive a $5 Downtown Dollars gift card.

Join us next week for the 2024 NBHA Youth World Championships in Reaves Arena and Perdue Arena! Youth and teen competitors from around the world will be in Perry competing with their horses for the championship title. Barrel racing begins daily at 8:00 AM and admission is FREE!

Lights, Camera, Action for the Livestock Ambassadors!🎥

Last week, the Livestock Ambassadors traveled to the fairgrounds to become the stars for to film the commercials for GNFA! The team also got to meet members of our board and experience a board meeting to see what takes place. They also met with to start planning for the 3rd Annual Fair Food Drive that will be kicking off in the fall!

Meet 2024 GNFA Livestock Ambassador team member Aly Corzine!

Aly, a rising junior at Veterans High School, has a profound love for showing livestock that stretches over ten years. When reflecting on her favorite moment at the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter, she recalls one of the best days of her life. Her most cherished accomplishments are winning the titles of supreme FFA showman and grand champion market wether on the same day at the 2022 Georgia National Fair. Aly's kindness and empathy shine, as she is always willing to lend a helping hand to others, no matter the circumstances!

There's no other person we'd love to slide through life's ups and downs with.

Meet 2024 GNFA Livestock Ambassador team member Joshua Black!

Josh is a rising senior from Madison County, Georgia, and has been showing livestock for two years. When questioned about his passion for showing livestock, he expressed, "I find great joy in showing livestock as I believe it instills crucial values like hard work, dedication, and persistence within oneself. For me, my livestock serve as my "happy place" and every time I work with or present them, I'm filled with a sense of profound confidence in my abilities." His passion for showing influences his character and enriches his experiences. Josh is ready to share those enriching experiences with others this year!
