Your workout split is holding you back… let me explain.
There is no end all be all workout routine that is for everyone. Just as you would expect, a routine is specific for every person but not in the way you would think.
One of the most important factors in deciding what routine to choose is..
1.) how many days will you consistently go to the gym
2.) how long you want to be in the gym when you go.
3.) your goals
That’s pretty much it. If you cannot be in the gym for 6 days, then the PPL will not be for you.
If you can only go for 2 days, you have no choice but do the full body split.
Then the second point, how long you want to be in the gym when you go. The full body split will often have longer workout times because there is more ground to cover compared to the other splits where the exercises will be split between more days.
Then finally, your goals. Our time sacrificed for our goals will be reflected in the end. What you put in, is what you get out. The bigger the goals, the more time you will need to sacrifice in order to achieve those goals.
