Happy Take Your Daughter To Work Day! Even though we celebrate that every day here at Antonio’s 😂

It’s crazy to think we will soon be moving to a new location and saying goodbye to Woodbridge. I remember coming here as a kid and running around the storefront, inspecting all the different cookies and goodies we had. And when I was a little older, helping pack pasta and stuff shells in the kitchen. We’ve been in Woodbridge for almost my entire life so all of my “take your daughter to work days” have been here. It’s bittersweet to know today will be my last one here.

We do not have a concrete date just yet for the move, BUT we can tell you it is very soon. So if you haven’t yet, make sure you stop in to stock up on your favorites and bid farewell to Woodbridge 💗

Our limited time cheese lasagna is back for Easter!

Each lasagna is made with our delicious ricotta filling, marinara sauce, imported pecorino romano and pasta sheets. Each lasagna is 9x13 inches and will feed approximately 8-10 people. They are $42 a tray and can be paid for at pick up. Pickups will only be this Saturday 3/30 from 9am-1pm.

Please reach out to us directly to order yours. They must be pre-ordered so dont’t wait!

A little peak at what next month will look like for us here in Woodbridge.

We are hoping to be moving to Keyport after Easter, making March our last month in Woodbridge! Additionally, in case you missed our last post, we will be closed for a few days in March because we are going away for my wedding. Wholesale accounts will still be serviced, but the retail store will be closed. We are a small crew here at Antonio’s and when me and my dad are away, the retail is just not do-able.

I will also be away the week of 3/18-22 but retail will re-open on 3/19 so make sure you stop on in before Easter and the move! We won’t be able the accommodate retail orders once we move until the new storefront is ready. This could take some time so we encourage you to stock up if you are as addicted to our pasta as we are (or ask us where you can find our products in store!).

Happy Valentine’s Day!! Sending all of our customers (old and new) lots of love today!! And here’s a gentle reminder to anyone without plans, pick up some pasta! Nothing says “I love you” quite like it 🍝

As we look towards the holidays, we wanted to let you know some changes in our hours!

To ensure you have the pasta you need for Christmas, we will be extending our hours the Saturday before (12/23) from 9:00am-4:00pm AND we will be open Sunday, Christmas Eve, from 9:00am-12:00pm. That’s how much we love all of you and want you to have our pasta at your table!

We will be closed Christmas Day as well as the day after Christmas with normal hours resuming Wednesday 12/27. We will also be closed New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Normal business hours will resume January 2nd.

Don’t forget to place your lasagna orders and any other holiday orders! While pre-orders are not required, they do help us ensure we have enough fresh pasta for everyone plus it makes picking up a breeze.

Now accepting pre-orders for our homemade cheese lasagna! They are $42 for a 9x13 tray (feeds approximately 8-10 people). Made with our signature ricotta filling, Imported Pecorino Romano, shredded mozzarella, homemade marinara sauce and semolina pasta sheets. These are the perfect side dish for any of your holiday gatherings (or an easy weeknight dinner in the middle of the holiday chaos). Just pop it in the oven and you have a delicious dish that’s sure to please.

Lasagna must be pre-ordered by 12/20/23 for pick up on either 12/23 or 12/24 (your choice!). Please stop in, call, email, DM, etc to order your lasagna today!

Please note, we will not be making extras so make sure to send in your order if you want one!

🦃 Updated hours for the week of Thanksgiving!�🦃

We will have normal hours today and tomorrow and then will close for the remainder of the week (including Saturday). If you are hoping to have pasta on the Thanksgiving table (or when you are sick of leftovers) make sure you stop in before Thursday!

Tired of turkey? Or in need of a vegetarian option at the table? Maybe you just need a delicious side you don’t want to worry about making? Enter the cheese lasagna.

This year we will once again be making fresh cheese lasagnas available for pre-order. Each lasagna will be made with our homemade ricotta filling and marinara sauce as well as shredded mozzarella and imported grated pecorino romano.

These lasagnas will be half trays (about 9 inches by 13 inches) and are $42 each. Orders must be received by Sunday 11/19 and will be available to pick up Wednesday 11/22. We will not be making any extras so please be sure to get your orders in! You can order by sending us a direct message, sending an email, making a call, or stopping in the shop!

For those who know, we only make lasagna a few times a year so be sure to not miss out on this special offer!

October is now over which means our Ravioli For A Cure fundraiser has officially concluded. We are so appreciative for the support this fundraiser received from all of you. As a result, we were able to donate $2,826.50 to Breast Intentions !!!

In my hands are some very special boxes of pasta.

One is Ravioli For A Cure; a ravioli we created in loving memory of my mom who passed away in 2018 after battling breast cancer for several years. We committed every single dollar we receive from this ravioli to Breast Intentions to help those currently going through cancer treatment. This ravioli is more than just labeled with a pink ribbon; it is a sign of hope.

The other is “boo”-catini; a fun play on words to celebrate Halloween. This creation is also a nod to my mom. She loved Halloween and I mean LOVED it. Growing up, there was not a corner of our house or our yard that was not “spookified” for the month of October. People talk about the magic their parents made for Christmas, and while my mom definitely made Christmas magical, she really shined for Halloween. Part of that was the themed dinners she would make leading up to Halloween. Stuffed shells she made to look like cyclops eyes with olives. Breaded chicken she made to look like werewolf hands. The list goes on and on.

During her time at Antonio’s Pasta, she even created ra-“boo”-oli, a pack of black and orange cheese ravioli. Unfortunately, ra-“boo”-oli is a little more time intensive than what we are able to do at the moment. So in recognition of her (and now my) love for Halloween, I decided to make a small batch of our newest pasta shape, bucatini, in the appropriate colors.

These pastas are not just dyed black and orange like you may see at other stores. Rather, they are made with squid ink and roasted red peppers. So not only is this pasta fun, it is also delicious.

Part of what I love so much about working at my family’s pasta business is the ability to do good. Whether that be through donating to causes that speak to my heart or sharing the stories of my mom through fun products like “boo”-catini. Antonio’s Pasta is so much more than a business and I am so appreciative of those who let us into their homes and into their lives 💗

Ravioli For A Cure is back and better than ever!!!

In memory of my mom who died from breast cancer, and in honor of everyone impacted by this disease, we are once again making a special ravioli and pledging our proceeds to an organization to help those impacted.

This year, we decided to pledge 100% of our proceeds from Ravioli For A Cure to Breast Intentions, a New Jersey based nonprofit whose goal is to “help families navigate through a cancer diagnosis by providing emotional and financial support.” This organization is run solely by volunteers and all donations go directly to those in need.

Their mission spoke to us because as previous caregivers, we know the reality of a cancer diagnosis and how much finances exacerbate the stress you are already under. No one diagnosed with cancer nor their families should have to worry about how they are going to pay their rent, electricity, etc. Thankfully, Breast Intentions was formed by two cousins who wanted to “address what keeps the patients up at night, so that they can focus on healing.”

To help make this fundraiser even more special, we crafted a brand new flavor! For this month only, we will be selling a delicious dessert ravioli! These ravioli have a chocolate, cherry and mascarpone filling. They are the perfect sweet treat!

We hope you will pick some ravioli up this month to help us support Breast Intentions and those in our community. You can also visit their website at www.breastintentions.org to learn more and donate directly to their cause.

Not a day goes by that I do not miss my mom and the beautiful soul she was. While nothing takes the pain away of her loss, being able to run a fundraiser like this makes me smile knowing her legacy lives on. Any and all support you can give to this cause is so appreciated 💗

The end of summer is fast approaching!

We will be CLOSED this upcoming Monday in observance of Labor Day. We will be OPEN this Saturday from 9am-1pm.

We know pasta isn't a top summer food, so we look forward to welcoming many of you back as the weather starts to turn and the holidays approach!

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of the patriarch of our family, Richard Sr.

For those who knew my grandfather, you know how much of a hard worker he was. As a young adult, he served our country as a member of the Marine Corps. He took great pride in being a Marine and was honored to wear that title. When he finally retired from Antonio’s several years ago, he volunteered his free time to his town’s Marine Corps League to continue their mission.

He then went on to drive trucks for the oil company Texaco while also supporting his wife as a food truck owner. After retiring from Texaco, he took a leap of faith and purchased Antonio’s Pasta in 1982 with his wife as their next great adventure.

For decades, my grandfather continued to build and grow Antonio’s Pasta & Ravioli with the help of his family. While it would be unfair to say only one member of our family is the reason Antonio’s is what it is today, we definitely would not be here if it were not for my grandfather.

He will be missed very much and we hope to continue to make him proud each day here at Antonio’s 💗

I know this box may seem half finished, but that is the beauty of it! Allow me to introduce you to our new specialty ravioli box!

Since way before I started working here, I’ve dreamt of creating a box that would help our flavored ravioli shine. A huge thank you to Triton Design for making those dreams a realty.

If you know what it’s like to be a small business, you know sometimes we have to work with what we have. Money can be tight and what you want isn’t always within the budget. For us, that meant using our cheese ravioli box as our everything ravioli box. Of course, we added labels to appropriately mark what flavor the box contained, but it never did our ravioli justice. Our flavored ravioli are top notch and they deserved a box just as awesome. So here it is!

I am so proud to be able to bring this box into production and continue with our re-brand. Antonio’s Pasta & Ravioli may be over 40 years old, but I am just getting started.

I’ve decided to include a photo of my late grandma, Barbara Winant, and my late mom, Sandra Winant. My grandma was the original matriarch of Antonio’s Pasta and was a major pillar for us for decades. My mom was another pillar of support for Antonio’s as well as the one who opened our doors to the public after our deli closed in the early 2000s. Both women were amazing souls who deserve to be celebrated today despite being gone.

✨New product alert✨

We now make fresh semolina bucatini!

Have you heard of bucatini before? If not, it is a long pasta similar to spaghetti but it is hollow on the inside. This style is great at soaking sauce to make each bite even more flavorful!

Just as with our other semolina pasta, our bucatini is made with 100% Italian Number 1 Semolina. It is egg and dairy free making it a great choice for anyone with these allergies or following a plant-based diet.

That’s right! We will now be open on SATURDAYS!!!

You asked, we answered! Starting in May, we be open every Saturday from 9am-1pm. No preorders necessary! Just pop on in and pick up some fresh or frozen pasta, sauce and cheese!

As we transition to this new schedule, we will no longer be open until 6pm on Wednesdays. Today, April 26th will be our last day open until 6pm. We understand this may be upsetting to some. However, we hope with our new weekend hours, we will be able to serve even more people!
