And tomorrow me and will head to the islands to bring these Bibles to those who can’t easily access Bibles on the islands 🙏

In 3 weeks I will be going to Uganda to teach on ‘Developing your Vision and Calling’ in Jinja, Uganda, Africa. I taught there last year and it was so impactful and such a blessing with much fruit!

After this I will joining my good friend Rukundo Abel to help partner with End Bible Poverty Now to get Bibles to people who don’t have access to Bibles in some small islands and remote places around Uganda.

Abel has been so faithful for so many years at regularly making trips almost every month for many years now (he pictured below on one of his more recent trips)

Many years ago I took a small boat to a remote village (pictured below as well), and it is so amazing to see God’s faithfulness after almost a decade later 🙌🏼❤️

Our goal is hand out more than 150 bibles or more,
Each Bible is about $10

Heading to Uganda 🇺🇬

The last few weeks have been BUSY

But I’m finally heading to Uganda now for a conference and to meet and connect with some amazing African and international leaders from around the country to see how we can continue to reach the unreached with the gospel of Jesus and help get the Word to more tribes and languages in Africa 👍🙏🤙

Have been looking forward to this for a while now, very excited for this 🌍🧡

Quick update:

It’s been busy!

Moving to another country isn’t easy…go figure 🤷🏻‍♂️ haha

I’ve been so so busy with ministry and preparations it’s been wild, talk about hit the ground running fast.

-stated the first week getting used to the new place and then jumped into our annual staff training time here called “At Home Week”
- started into ministry planning and working out the schedule for the next 3 months
- put together teachings for the entire Bible overview that we will be teaching week by week
- was figuring out house repair, paying rent, getting my place organized
- getting supplies and needs for moving here that I needed
- then spent the last week getting renovations done for the guest room as I prepared for my firsts guests I am now hosting here!
- and researching needs and prices for myself and the ministry of what we will need and what things might cost
- (and a lot more boring logistical things haha)

Wow, it’s already been very busy and sometimes wonder if I’m in over my head, but I keep seeing God’s hand in all of it, so I keep trusting that He will be faithful to lead, guide and comfort me ❤️

Final Countdown to Africa! I’m getting ready to move to South Africa, where I will be helping pioneer a ministry to the unreached and harder to get to places in Southern Africa. I shared about this in my last newsletter, but am just excited about it, and wanted to share a few things.

The Ukrainian coat of arms
- trident, or tryzub - has a long history (over a thousand years).
At the same time, it symbolises a modern country. It reflects heroic events of the past - and it is a stripe of Ukrainian warriors protecting the freedom of Ukraine today.
As perhaps any sign, the Ukrainian trident has its hidden symbolism. Still, with over 40 (!) theories about its actual meaning, it's hardly possible to find the real roots of the symbol. The ideas vary from referring to the trinity, bow with arrows, or candlestick to pointing out its similarity with anchor and even falcon's wings. The trident was the ancestral sign of the Rurik dynasty (10th-12th century, Kyivan Rus' times). Archaeologists still find its image on coins, seals, utensils, bricks, and murals. Back in the 10th century, the obverse of coins during the times of Volodymyr the Great, the Prince of Kyiv, bore his portrait. Though it wasn't the only symbol used throughout
the history of Ukraine. Since the 14th century, other signs (which often characterised regions) became popular, and Ukrainian cossacks later had their own symbols.
In 1918, just after the Russian empire's collapse, the Ukrainian People's Republic government approved the trident as a state coat of arms. It became popular again - primarily thanks to its appearance on the banknotes. During the 70 years of Soviet rule, the trident was called nationalistic and banned.

In 1992, the Ukrainian parliament, Verkhovna Rada, finally approved the Small State Emblem of Ukraine, a year after the country restored its independence.
Now the symbol connects past and present - from the Kyivan Rus' times, where Ukraine has its roots, to the 21st century. Today, you can see tridents on T-shirts everywhere. You might have heard stories about Ukrainian defenders tortured by Russian invaders because of the trident symbol on the body or clothes. You might have also seen photos of how Ukrainians paint tridents on the temporarily occupied territories to resist.
In 1000 years, tryzub has become something that defines us as a nation, and its ancient and sacred story is!

A lot of changes!!
So we were in Ukraine for about 3 weeks and because of the recent unsettlement with Russia and Ukraine it was decided we should relocate our outreach.
So we are now in Armenia! 🇦🇲
This is a beautiful country, that I knew very little about till coming here, but it is a gem! I’m so thankful the Lord led us here! Ministry has already been so fruitful! And I’m so thankful to be here! The Lord is so surprising! And we can’t wait to see what more He will do here! We’ve already been doing evangelism, working with different churches and organizations here, and lots of prayer and intercession!

Keep us in your prayers as we continue to navigate this wild outreach as we want to see the Lord move wildly in us and through us!!

Here we come Ukraine! 🇺🇦

After a bunch of hurricane of events we are somehow here about to hop on a plane ✈️

We’ve seen God move past a lot in these two weeks even just to be here, so there must be great things the Lord wants to do once we’re there! 💪🏼

Pray that we see God move in miraculous ways when we get there!! 🎆
