Center Kids
Center Kids—Sharing the love of Jesus with each and everyone, building a love for God and His word, and teaching the children to do the same.
Today we move on to lesson 5, Eyewitness Story, of our series Bible Detective.
The children will learn that memorizing God’s word is important when studying the Bible.
“I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. I praise you, O Lord; teach me your decrees. I have recited aloud all the regulations you have given us. I have rejoiced in your laws as much as in riches. I will study your commandments and reflect on your ways. I will delight in your decrees and not forget your word.”
Psalms 119:11-16
Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful dads! Dads, you are essential! Hope to see you in church today! Be blessed!

Today Sister Olga will be diving deeper into her message from Sunday. 🙌🙌🙌
Next week we will conclude week 2 of Bible Detective. Topic: Looking for Clues
When reading the Bible, it's okay to ask questions. When did that happen? Why did that person do that? What does that verse mean? We should not be afraid to ask questions. Asking questions – to God, to teachers, to parents and to ourselves – will help us grow in our knowledge of the Bible. -Adapted from CMDs
Thank you to all teachers! May the Lord bless you, strengthen you, and continue to give patience and wisdom! We are thankful for you!
Praise the Lord! It’s a brand new month! Happy Birthday to ALL May babies! God made you awesome! And He loves you very much! So do we! Blessings!
Good morning Center Church family! We are still praying for you! Prayers for all students testing today and tomorrow. May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face to shine upon you. May He be gracious to you, have favor over you, and grant you His peace.
”Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.“ Philippians 4:6-7
Being a Christian is not just a Sunday thing, or a Wednesday thing, it is an everyday giving of self. Just like a detective is always on the case, so are we to always be following Christ. In this new series the children will learn to be Bible Detectives--Always on the Case.
" I send time thinking about your rules. I consider how you want me to live. I take delight in your orders. I won't fail to obey your word." Psalm 119:15-16
Tonight we will conclude our lesson Reflecting the Son not blocking Him by teaching the children that we don’t do things on our ability, but Christ’s.
Scripture: Acts 3:1-16, Peter Heals a Man Who Can’t Walk
While Jesus was on the earth, He healed many and helped many. When Peter healed a lame man, he made it clear to the people that it was not his power but the power of God working in him to heal the man.
Objective: Kids will say “I can reflect the light of Jesus to others.”
Good morning! We are praying all Center Students as they prepare for their exams this week and the weeks to follow. May they not fear, and may they do their best and know that God will do the rest. ✏️💻📚🙏🏼🙌🏼 God’s got you. Blessings. 💪🏼🙏🏼🙌🏼
Happy Birthday to All April Babies! May the Lord bless you abundantly!
Today Center Kids will begin a new lesson called Eclipsed: Don't Block the Son--Reflect Him.
Memory Verse: John 8:12 "Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, 'I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won't have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.'"
Question: Who was the true worshipper and who was the pretender?
Answer: Mary of Bethany was the true worshipper. Not only did she choose to sit at Jesus’s feet, but she also chose to anoint His feet with expensive perfume, whereas Judas Iscariot, the pretender, wanted to sell it and use it for his own gain. Judas ended up being the disciple who betrayed Jesus for 30 pcs of silver.
Bring your children for a night of praise, worship, food, and fun. Tonight Pastor Jorge will be sharing a word on A True Worshipper and a Pretender. Can your children guess who is who?
Also, just a reminder, Sunday is family Sunday so we will be having our celebration tonight.
Bring your children today to learn about Jesus’s triumphal entry and what it means to shout Hosanna—“please save us,” and how it leads up to the crucifixion and Resurrection Sunday.
Tonight is Wednesday Night Recap! The children will affirm their commitment to put God first over anything else, including screens.
Happy Birthday to all March Babies! We love you and we know that God has great plans for you! 🙌🏼🥳🎂
Bring your kiddos for Week 6 of Screen Time.
Paul loved to tell people about Jesus. He would use many different ways to share the good news, in order to help people see Jesus. How can you be like Paul with your screens? Whether it’s talking about Jesus to your gamer community, writing about Jesus on your own blog, or uploading your own videos about Jesus, there are many ways that we can use the screen to share Jesus with others.
This week Center Kids will learn about not allowing their screen time, and other things, to take the place of God time and the things He wants for them.
“Screen time isn’t bad in and of itself. The problem comes when the amount of time we spend in front of screen is out of balance with the rest of our lives. The Bible tells us that there is a right time for every kind of activity. Are you making time for all the stuff in your life? Kids will be chal-lenged to consider the amount of time they spend looking at a screen and make a plan to
create a better balance.” -CMDs
Tonight “Lettuce Love One Another” 🎥🍿 🎬
Happy Birthday February Babies! Jesus loves you and so do we 💕
This week: Screen Test
“God has given us his Law, rules for us to live by. When we don’t do things God’s way, that is called sin. Has your screen time ever caused you to sin? Don’t let your screen time cause you to dishonor your parents, lie to teachers, or fail to see those in need around you.” -CMDs
KEY PASSAGE:
Exodus 20:1-17, The Ten Commandments; Matthew 25:31-45, The Sheep and the Goats
Join us today for family Sunday! Gather your family and bring them to church as we join together to hear a impactful word, together, in the sanctuary. Then, stay for our Super Sunday meal after our 11AM service.
This morning we will discover Jesus is our guide.
Tomorrow Teacher Sylvia and Teacher Yoli will be leading our children into week 3 of Screen Time: Eye Protection.
Scripture: Matthew 6:19-24, Light for the Body
Jesus calls our eyes the lamp of the body. If you look on good things, your body will be full of light; if you look at bad things, your body will be full of darkness. Are the things you see on the screen filling your body with light or darkness? We cannot honor God if we are watching things that dishonor Him.
Objective: Children will evaluate whether they looking at things on screen that they shouldn't.
Tonight we will continue with week 2 of Screen Time.
“Redeeming the Screen
Much of daily life – even for kids – now revolves around screens. What are the risks? What are the dangers? Is there a godly way to use technology? This series will answer these questions and challenge kids to use screens responsibly and for God's glory. In Screen Time 8-Week Children's Ministry Curriculum, kids will learn to honor God with their screen time.” -CMDs
Memory Verse: So be very careful how you live. Do not live like people who aren’t wise. Live like people who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity. The days are evil. Ephesians 5:15-16
