Thank you for taking the time to explore a career with us. As the world is changing, so are the needs of our clients. Pure Joy Counseling & Consulting Services is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our practice. The Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) will:

Conduct necessary evaluations and provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy across the lifespan
Be fully licensed and credentialed in one or more US states.
Have experience working with adult, and/or child and adolescent populations.
Essential Job Functions

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

-Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients' treatment
-Develop & utilize individual treatment plans to assess the effectiveness of treatment
-Provide individual, couples, and family counseling services to improve psychosocial functioning
-Provides psycho-education to clients to increase understanding of mental illness, emotional and behavioral disorders, etc.
-Complete appropriate documentation, including but not limited to, progress reports, clinical summaries, and termination or discharge summaries
-Keep accurate and timely records and data in accordance with agency policy standards
-Refer clients to other specialists, institutions, or support services as necessary
-Participate in staff meetings, group supervision, and training sessions as necessary.
-Educational and Experience
Requirements

-Master’s degree in counseling or psychotherapy
-At least 2 years of full-time experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor in a healthcare setting.
-Will maintain professional licensure per state requirements
- Credentialed on Insurance panels a plus
-Licensed in multiple states a plus!
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) as well as an understanding of email and attachments. -Strong typing and computer application skills.
-Understanding of HIPAA guidelines and policies

*This is a telehealth position - looking for part-time, full-time 1099 contractors.
