We still have many great finds! No book is over $2 and most are $1 or less, with some really good treasures unavailable anywhere else!

Fasching 2023!

Philly Bierfest 2023 is an event that beer enthusiasts have been eagerly waiting for! After a two-year hiatus, the German Society of Pennsylvania and Philly Roller Derby are bringing back the legendary lager-centric event that celebrates Pennsylvania's rich German brewing heritage and showcases the state's leadership in brewing world-class German-style beers.

The 10th annual Bierfest will take place on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, and will be held at the German Society of Pennsylvania's beautiful 19th-century mansion in Northern Liberties.

Attendees can expect to sample a diverse array of beers from Pennsylvania's leading brewers of Lagers, Kôlsches, Bocks, and Weizens, as well as imports from Germany. The event will feature two beer halls, the PA Beer Hall, and the German Beer Hall, each offering a unique experience. The PA Beer Hall will spotlight Pennsylvania's national leadership in German-style brewing, and will feature Roller Derby Arm-Wrestling and live Bluegrass. The German Beer Hall will offer a taste of Germany’s legendary brewing history, featuring Berlin-style Beerlesque acts and Polkadelphia's Oompah-Funk.

There will be five floors of fun spread between two buildings, which will include Beer-Jello Masskrugstemmen, Roller Derby Arm-Wrestling, the Home Sweet HomeBräu Taste-Off, and more!

Tickets for the event are available for purchase, with options for General Admission, VIP, and Beerless Access. Special pricing is also available for German Society Members.
