🥁Drumroll please…this Saturday, join us for a special performance held in conjunction with our “Juneteenth Celebration through the Storytelling Art of Jerry Pinkney,” which begins at 4PM.

Drummer Max Roach pioneered many artistic styles and drum techniques. His music had the ability to make the world look at oppression and freedom through the beat of his drums. The Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble returns with drummer John Coley to pay tribute to the legacy of Max Roach in a concert of Undefeated Jazz. This concert will follow “Juneteenth Celebration through the Storytelling Art of Jerry Pinkney” and will be held INSIDE THE MUSEUM.
