I think it’s so important to truly be proud of yourself and your journey. Hard work, dedication to your skillset, trusting God & fearlessness has always opened the wildest doors for me!

I remember coming from this small basic town, moving to Philly & winning Philadelphia Hairstylist of the Year 2011 & was asked my biggest aspirations. My response was “I want to be a celebrity stylist”. About a year later Robin Thicke walked into the spa I worked at and destiny took it’s path. I then spent the next couple years living out my goals working with all my fave celebs.

Taking today to look back to my early years of my career & being like “girl, you did that!”.

My client yesterday asked me what’s next? It took me a second to really respond because I’ve been so on go I had to stop to reflect.. My what’s next is continuing to empower people all over through on-location luxe beauty both on the client side as well as the artist side. I am obsessed with every person I meet and truly am so grateful to have a career that 11 years later still is so exciting and evolving!

Meet the Harrison Sisters!

Made Up On The Go and now Freely Extensions, were born from a desire to empower women from the inside out. The Harrison Sisters-- Ilalee, Jahneva and Mary (age order), are 3 biological sisters who have been blessed with an entrepreneurial spirit, a love for helping others and desire to support women in their goals & dreams.

The baby of the family, Mary-Ashanti, found her passion in hair and makeup. She set out to redefine her industry by putting her focus on accentuating her clients natural features, not covering them up or caking on makeup (remember those days?!). She is committed to help women see their natural beauty and leave them empowered to do the same at home through her Five Minute Face tutorial.

As her recognition increased and her clientele grew from friends and family to celebrities like Paris Hilton and Tara Reid, Ilalee & Jahneva watched, cheered her on and loved sharing the ‘hook up’ with friends and family. They were both involved in entrepreneurial adventures of their own. When they saw the positive impact that luxury hair and makeup had-- the bright smile and instant glow that transformed the women who sat in Mary-Ashanti’s chair-- they had an idea... find a way to spread the love and impact. They wanted more women to feel beautiful, worthy and loved, just as they were, and they knew firsthand that those feelings increased after a glam session with Mary-Ashanti (who now heads up of the beauty division).

Today they’re a real life example of the research that shows, feeling beautiful on the outside leads to feeling beautiful on the inside, through their hundreds of happy clients, spreading Mary-Ashanti’s God-given glam gifts to empower women, and constantly finding ways to bring that feeling to a broader audience.
