Working on my backends with my girl @stellarose_pilates on @Pilatesology -Enliven Your Backbends The truth- I can do backbends, but I know they definitely don't come from the correct place. I usually recruit from my lower back too much and rely on any hypermobility I can. I am the queen of compensation. The truth- my midback hurts the majority of the time. It feels incredibly fatigued and "stuck". I put some blame on my large chest and not being as conscience about my posture when standing over my clients all day. So, lately, I've been determined to build up my shoulder and thoracic strength and mobility. I know I can make a change, I just have to unlock where I am stuck and where I am compensating in my current Pilates practice. 20-something years of Pilates practice and still so much to learn 🩷💪 #theresalwayssomethingtoworkon #enlivenyourbackbends #backbends
