We are a driving school offering behind the wheel lessons and the 30 Hour Driver Education Course.
There’s a Cell Phone in Your Student’s Head A 2017 study found that cell phones that were turned off and stashed away silently reasserted themselves—distracting working students anyway.
Decoding the Teenage Brain (in 3 Charts) New technologies are shedding light on what really makes adolescents tick—and providing clues on how we might reach them better.
Remember, to leave one car length of space per 10 miles an hour when driving. This is how long it will take for you to stop if the car in front of you stops suddenly
Notice the signs on the back of my car. They say please do not tail gate.
This does not stop people from tailgating. Luckily most people do not tailgate but there are those who do and signs like this do not change human behavior.
So the moral of the story is, always break early and easy. Always break gently. Unless you have an emergency situation in front of you which requires you to break hard.
This also means that you need to leave enough room in front so that you can break easy. Do not drive close to the cars in front of you.
Just assume that people behind you are driving too close and too fast, so make a habit of breaking early and easy.
This intersection is clear. There shouldn't be any question as to what to do, according to the signs. Now look at similar intersections in the post below.
What is the difference between these two signs? Why is one of them very clear and the other would lead to confusion or a misunderstanding, if you read it very carefully? If you stop at both because they are red and you are waiting for green and someone honks at you, should you go? Why yes or why no. Would one of these traffic signals benefit from having a RIGHT, green arrow and which one?
Learning to parallel park.
When you back in, it is important to watch the angle of your car. You can tell if you are going to get into the parking spot or not. In two of these pictures it doesn't look like the car is going to get into the spot. In one of them it does look like the car is going to get in. Do you know which photo shows the correct angle for the car to get into the spot????????
And what is wrong with the position of the car in the other two photos??????????
