Skip the coffee! Start your morning with the monks of Drepung Gomang Monastery instead! Every day from July 9-14 at our 4700 Wissahickon Ave location, the monks will start the day with chanting before continuing work on the creation of a Sacred Tibetan Sand Mandala. We can say from experience that there is nothing quite like it. The meditative and peaceful quality sweeps over the space, and we often find ourselves opening our office doors to let the sounds of the chant wash over us and begin the work day with a refreshed and unparalleled mindset. If you find you need a refresher this summer, we encourage you to join us. The monks will be here from 10 am to 4 pm, while there will be a special Tibetan Cultural Pageant on Saturday, July 13 beginning at noon.
