Bayer and Dow have launched 43 lawsuits against Mexico since Mexican president Andrés Manuel López Obrador issued a presidential decree banning the cultivation of GMO corn, and the import of GMO corn for human consumption and livestock feed by the end of 2024. Bayer has also puppeteered agencies and officials within our government to pressure Mexico to abandon its plans.
Tell Congress, U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) Ambassador Katherine Tai, and USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack to get off Mexico's back. Mexico isn't banning all corn, just GMO corn. The country is considering direct agreements with farmers in the United States, Argentina and Brazil to secure non-GMO yellow corn imports, Mexico's Deputy Agriculture Minister Victor Suarez told Reuters.

Posted • “A brand new way to eat delicious and inexpensive locally-caught seafood has come to Mt. Airy this month. Fishadelphia, which bills itself as a community-based fishery program, is holding weekly fish stands outside of the Mt. Airy Weavers Way at Carpenter Lane and Greene Street.
“We’re so excited to have a fish stand in Mt. Airy this summer and to reach a new group of people who love seafood,” said Talia Young, program founder and director.
Typically, fish farmers will sell the fish they catch to a fishing dock, which sells it to a wholesaler. That wholesaler sells it to a retailer, from whom consumers purchase the fish.
Fishadelphia cuts out the middleman by purchasing fish directly from the dock.”
