Neshaminy School District / Overview Neshaminy Pre-K Counts is offering a FREE quality preschool program at two locations in the district for the 2017-2018 school year.

Good morning! Winter has finally caught up with us, so all Neshaminy schools will be CLOSED today (Thursday January 4) for students and teachers. After-school and evening activities are also cancelled. Offices will be open.

Christmas Choir Competition Voting for the K-8 Finalists will begin on Monday, November 27th, 2017 after Jenn & Bill play their songs on the air during the morning show around 7am! The High School Division Finalists will be announced

Students at Tawanka Elementary School check out a display of books donated by Colonial Subaru in Feasterville as part of the automaker's Subaru Loves Learning campaign. Erica Kopp, Business Manager and Michael Britland, Delivery Specialist at Colonial stopped by the school Monday to deliver the books in person. The students are wearing red headbands they made to celebrate Constitution Day.

Tawanka was a busy place today as teachers from around the district visited for Superkids training!

A plaque dedication ceremony will take place tomorrow evening, Wednesday, June 7 at the entrance to Tawanka Elementary School at 6:30 pm. You are welcome to stop by and join in the celebration! We thank the Tawanka EarlyAct students for their planned participation. EarlyAct is a school-wide service club for elementary students and is sponsored by the Feasterville and Langhorne Rotary Clubs.

A few very famous people visited Tawanka today!

Neshaminy is very pleased to welcome Robin Klaiber as the new Principal of Tawanka Elementary School effective July 1. She will be replacing Acting Principal Donald Palmer, who is returning to his former position as Assistant Principal at Poquessing Middle School.

Robin comes to Neshaminy from her current position as Assistant Principal at Penn Valley Elementary School and Cynwyd Elementary School in Narberth, PA. She has been in that position since 2014. Before that she was an Assistant Principal at Snow Creek Elementary School in Hickory, NC and Startown Creek Elementary School in Newton, NC, and a classroom teacher in Albuquerque, NM, Freehold NJ and Manchester NJ. She is a graduate of Muhlenberg College in Allentown and received her MA in School Administration, Supervision and Curriculum Planning from Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ.

Weather Note:
Family Paint Night will only be postponed if school is closed on Friday. Basically, if there's school then paint night is on. No school and it will be moved to next Friday at the same times. Should a need to postpone arrive and you have a conflict with the snow date then you may contact me for assistance at ckanski13[at]yahoo[dot]com"

What are you doing this weekend? Why not come out to see some of our incredibly talented Neshaminy HS performers stage the classic Broadway and film hit 'The Sound of Music? You know the songs, don't you? There is a show tonight (7pm), two on Saturday (1pm and 7pm) and an extra matinee on Sunday at 1pm. Tickets are only $10/evening and $7/matinee and will be sold at the door. It's cold out there, come inside and enjoy some of the best performances in Bucks County or anywhere else!

Registrations for Family Paint Night should be turned in by this Friday. Space for the 6pm session is limited. Wristbands will be sent home in an envelope with your child(ren) next Wednesday. No admission will be sold at the door.
Since this is a family event a parent or parents are expected to stay with their child and paint their own painting. This is NOT a child drop event.
