Over the weekend, we had the special pleasure of featuring a few Black-Owned businesses at our Germantown Grand Opening celebration. Some of which we carry in store, and some of which we work with personally. Like Get Fresh Daily, who we have partnered with for their Juneteenth Cookout. Many of the Black-Owned businesses we carry are hyper-local, and we strive to support them as an entrypoint into a thriving marketplace and community.

We can’t change the past but we hope to change the future. Black-Owned businesses fill a spot in our community, lives, and homes that can not be overlooked or replicated. We thank them and celebrate them this Juneteenth, and every day.

P.S. We also want to give a shout out to our Black members, staff and shoppers. We thank you too, and wouldn't be here without you.

A summer salad is on its way to you, starting with peaches and lettuce mix. From today until June 18th, yellow peaches are $1.99 lb and lettuce mix (from Weavers Way Farms) is $4.99 each (5oz)!

This Giving Twosday, we will be supporting Germantown’s own Northwest Mutual Aid Collective. The Northwest Mutual Aid Collective works with community partners to help combat food insecurity and food waste. They recover 23,000 lbs of produce per month to distribute to homes and community fridges. Co-op members are able to volunteer with NWAC and receive their working member hours.

Have you checked out our made-to-order options at Ambler, Chestnut Hill and now Germantown? While each store has different options, from 11a-6p, you can get tasty, fresh food made to go, including hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, and - in Ambler and Germantown - delicious bowls. All you have to do is find the ordering kiosk or ask a staff person at our deli counters. Ambler and Germantown have indoor and outdoor seating (Chestnut Hill has outdoor seating) options if you want to stay and enjoy your meal. Or, if you are on the run, you can preorder online at at our Germantown, Chestnut Hill and Ambler stores. There are many grab and go options in the prepared foods fridges as well.

We are proud to announce that our made to order and grab and go sandwich creations will be built on Germantown’s own Merzbacher’s multigrain, sweet potato and seeded rye breads. Wrapping up our "Meet the Manager" series for our Germantown location, we'd like to introduce Cole!

This is Cole, our Produce Manager in Germantown. He's a relatively new face for all our members, but he jumped right into helping open this big, new produce department, helping however he could. Cole is kind, funny, and a real hands-on kind of guy. Having lived in Philadelphia for 7 years and Germantown for 4, he has become enchanted by the Germantown community. He wants to contribute to his community by providing fresh and delicious produce, one item at a time (and one customer at a time). With experience working in the Philly local food scene, we are excited to have him as part of our Germantown staff! Please give him a warm welcome to Weavers Way Germantown!

We did it! We opened a beautiful new store in Gemantown! We powered through all the setbacks and are glad to finally say that Weavers Way Germantown is NOW OPEN at 328 W Chelten Ave (corner of Chelten and Morris). Thank you for your patience these past many months.

We created this store with love (just like the rest) and we hope you love it just as much.
