We’re thrilled to welcome the 10th cohort of Temple Teacher Residency (TTR)! Here are some highlights from this year’s TTR Summer Institute.

The Summer Institute kicks off the residency and academic year with workshops led by veteran mentors, recent TTR graduates and community leaders from the School District of Philadelphia, all aimed at helping residents navigate the residency process.

This year’s cohort, like those before them, has made a profound commitment to the children of Philadelphia. They’ve transitioned from established careers in various industries to become educators, joining a movement to bring resilient, expert teachers to our schools.

This year promises to be remarkable for our residents. They will balance full-time study in an accelerated master’s program with hands-on teaching experience, while managing additional responsibilities outside of their residency. Despite the challenges ahead, they are prepared to persevere, supported by Temple’s dedicated community.
