But what made this weekend truly special is that each person offered something from their own hearts, too.

We had an incredible yoga class that everyone got to attend while the kiddos & pups were watched. A writing workshop that brought healing & awareness to everyone, and ended in each of us having a beautiful poem to take with us. A first aid class with SO much valuable info & a delicious snack board to enjoy. A cooking demo & nourishing meal that everyone helped pour into (plus recipes to take with them!) A gorgeous bonfire built from scratch, with s'mores, and a connection game dreamed up with a deck of cards. A restorative yin practice to bring it all together... and of course, hundreds of gorgeous photos to remember it all by.

Deep gratitude to everyone who attended, and especially to for these perfect captures from the last weekend of July.

A mantra for peace 🫶

Today, the word peace has come up in conversation multiple times, and this reminder, from The Book of Joy that we have been reading as a book club in HeartSpace, was also on our mind:

"From the moment of birth, every human being wants to discover happiness and avoid suffering. No differences in our culture or our education or our religion affect this. From the very core of our being, we simply desire joy and contentment. But so often these feelings are fleeting and hard to find, like a butterfly that lands on us and then flutters away.”

We all dream of peace with our first breath...

And spend our next 600 million ~ breaths getting farther from this dream, and then, if we're lucky, returning to the prayer for peace, within us, and in this world.

Whenever we gather, this is at the heart of what we offer...

Recipe for a ridiculously large zucchini harvest:

A few good seedlings +
Mushroom-rich soil +
A very rainy summer +
The loving vibrations of the Harmony land

Recipe for ridiculously delicious tacos:

Zucchini
Chickpea flour
Corn starch
Nutritional Yeast
H**p Seeds
Breadcrumbs
Salt Pepper Garlic (SPG)
Hot water or plant milk
Sauce (Chipotle Mayo, Ranch, etc)
Vegan Feta (or any chz)

Cut up Zucchini (normal size is A-OKAY) into strips.

Dip in a chickpea flour mix (1 cup chickpea flour, 1 tbsp corn starch, 1 tbsp Garlic/Salt/Pepper mix or spice of your choice, warm water or plant milk to mix until desired consistency) and then into a breadcrumb mix (breadcrumbs, nutritional yeast, h**p seeds) until covered.

Place in air fryer or oven at 400° until crispy (it was about 20 min in our air fryer!).

Warm tortillas until desired heat/crispiness, and add Chipotle Mayo from , then 2-3 zucchini strips, and then drizzle with Just Ranch (or any sauce!) Top with vegan Feta (we love ) or cheese of your choice, and greens if you've got them!

Enjoy!!!!!!

**We don't actually have a real real recipe for the big a*z zucchini or the tacos, but hopefully if you've found yourself with an excess amount of squash and craving something yummy... this will do!!

When we got an email from a friend asking if there was room for one more at our sold out The Goddess Weekend last summer, we had no idea how much our lives would change when we said, "Yes, we just set up a Yurt, and if she wants, it's hers!"

That spot went to a sweet angel named Angela, whom we felt so grateful to witness & hold that weekend. And even better, she started spending more and more time in Harmony, and eventually brought her husband (who we also fell in love with!) to hang out, too.

They quickly became Aunt Ang & Uncle Zach to our little one, and were the first people who made it possible for us to spend a few hours away from Shayan on our first ever "date night" since he arrived.

The rest is history, and in less than a year, we've watched this beautiful soul not only step (more like twirl!) into her healing journey fully, but we've also had so many amazing adventures including Interfusion Festival and BALI, baby!!!

Most importantly, though, we've been witness to (and have received the gifts of!) her journey into holding space of her own with sound medicine, and soon to be movement medicine, too.

Today is our first book club meeting within HeartSpace, and we are pretty excited.

We've been reading The Book of Joy, a conversation between the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu... and it just feels like one of those books that would benefit the whole world at this time.

So while book club is totally optional, we thought we'd share about something that really caught 's ear (yeah, as a single mama she definitely opted to listen to the book instead of read it... BONUS: It's free on Spotify Premium currently, so if you're curious, give it a listen, too!)

Mudita: aka, sympathetic joy!

It's something she taught about frequently back in her yoga teacher days, and yet it was so refreshing to have it brought back into her ethers...

It's no surprise that we don't have an official word for this in the English language, as it's not something we've been taught to prioritize when envy, jealousy, and projection are just so much more fun (jk jk!) The closest word, which you'll hear us talk about often IRL, is compersion, a word invented within the polyamory communities but that we feel like benefits ALL community spaces... meaning, feeling joy for another's joy, just because!!

For us, there is NO real joy in what we're creating here without the joy of witnessing every single person we love have BIG & little wins, internal and external, personal and business... this space was literally dreamed up so that everyone can have room to also dream up their own big, beautiful realities!

So today, let's do something fun! In addition to you scrolling and hopefully learning something about Mudita, and perhaps finding resonance in a practice or quote from the book... let's turn this comment section into a glowing ball of Mudita lovin' —

The other night, as we sat together on a sweet date night, we couldn't help but discuss the potential realities that are being brought up by many... & while we don't intend to let fear make decisions for us, we do understand what COULD happen to those (like us, & so many others) who are doing things so differently.

Still, we are guided to continue dreaming & living this softer way of being via the trust that this world will continue making more space for each person to live their own truth without forcing us all into a more limited & constricted reality just because it's "familiar" — an ancestral remembering of matriarchal worlds that thrived as healthy eco-systems where all were tended to.

And we also understand that there is much healing and repair needed in order for a matriarchal society to be re-born from this current climate —

So for now, we let our land be an invitation for that:

To tend to yourself so that you can be a healthy member of your village.

To encourage interdependence over independence.

To let the heart have space to be heard.

To soften, instead of grow more rigid.

To trust in the cycles of birth & re-birth.

To return to honoring the Earth, our original mother.

To love each other instead of judge & resent.

To choose another possibility.
