A glimpse at Paige + Zack’s wedding day in NY!!🤍✨

Paige and Zack are actually my sister and now brother in law!! So this wedding was all the MORE special! Paige asked me to be her matron of honor and help photograph their special day, where I told her I’d love to edit her wedding images, but we’d need other photographers to capture it!! And luckily my two favorites from Arizona were down and available to fly up and capture it!!

and flew all the way up to NY and man oh man I couldn’t think of a better crew to document this special day! Knowing I had these two photographing Paige’s and Zack’s wedding from beginning to end was not only SO FUN, but left me feeling ready to party it up with the whole fam and not having to worry!! They absolutely CRUSHED IT and I couldn’t have thought of a better duo to do it💛💛

So I guess this is a dedicated post to Paige and Zack but also to Taryn + Kayla!! Thank you SO much for not only being incredible friends, but giving up time out of your summer to celebrate Paige + Zack with all of our friends and family, and capturing it all so dang perfectly!! You two are the best.

These two have the sweetest souls. Even though I had only met them in person less than 24 hours before their wedding day, you could EASILY see the joy and love they have for each other, and everyone around them. They made Paul and I feel like we had known them for years. So it didn’t feel like we were there to work- to us it felt like we were celebrating our friends and their wedding day. Truly couldn’t express how honored we felt to be a part of documenting their love + getting to know these two🤍

Nothing like lining your party people up to cheer you on (+smack ya in the head or booty🤪) as they send you off at the end of the night!! Love love LOVE a fun exit!!

A bridal pool series because bring on the summer💦🌞

Anna + Carson rented out the most gorgeous Airbnb to get ready in, for their first look, + for half their bridal portraits!! If this isn’t a sign to do a little something extra for your elopement or wedding morning, idk what is!! I was beyond OBSESSED

For every wedding, I try to challenge myself to focus on a certain thing! That way I continue to grow in my art and don’t just stick to my “typical”, but still embrace the creativity in photography. For M + W’s wedding, I challenged myself to be even more intentional with capturing the little moments. Whether it being a reaction from across the room, M fiddling with her dress, or a different perspective. So excited to deliver this beautiful day’s gallery full of details + in-between moments.

I swear Runa, Will, + I just giggled throughout their whole engagement session!! It was so much fun!! + on top of that we ended up snagging the cutest candid photos to ever exist🤌🏼✨

Julianne + Falco’s winter Pittsburgh wedding✨☔️🤍

Despite the weather being dreary, rainy, + cold, these two were smiling ear to ear the entire day! Julianne + Falco are the definition of pure joy + love! You could hear it in their vows, during their first look, how their friends and family talked about them, andddd you could see it through their smiles, the way they loved each other + all of those around them! Such a perfect reminder of what weddings are all about!

Love you two + thank you so much for including Paul and me in documenting your big day!! It was truly the biggest honor capturing your love🤍

April + Dave’s destination wedding was beyond beautiful! It was laidback, full of laughter, tears, + their closest family and friends.

Our personal top 3 favorite things of their day:
1. Their vows!! In their vows, they both mentioned in their own way, how blessed they were to have found each other. And you could feel every word was met with sincerity! You could tell throughout the entire day, how lucky they both felt to have the other. Truly one of the sweetest loves Paul and I have had the privilege of documenting.
2. The florals + decor were TOP TIER!! So gorgeous, joyful in color, + timeless🌸🌵
3. Bridals with Dave + April!! April kicked off her heels to be able to run in the grass, and Dave decided to join in with her haha I had never seen a groom running around barefoot but it made the bridals SO fun + candid!!

April + Dave- thank you SO much for including us in documenting your big day!! You two are some of the kindest and most genuine souls to exist. Getting to know you both, your love, and families + friends was truly something incredible. Not only was it a beyond gorgeous day, but we felt like we walked away with two new friends. We’re so excited for the two of you as you start this next season of life together! Can’t wait for the future double (or triple + Kevin👀) date next time we’re all together🌵💛

When you can feel the fun in the engagement session, that’s exactly when the candids come out!! The real smiles, little moments + natural movements!! And I was just having WAY too much fun with Beverly + Storm in the AZ desert🌵✨

Carly + Josh’s day was beyond perfect!!🥂✨

A day that was suppose to rain, but instead had perfectly blue skies, mountain views, happy tears, seafood towers, mac + cheese bars, and a gorgeous bride and groom! I mean could it get any bit better?!

Our personal top 3 favorite parts from the day:
1. The most beautiful + sweetest first look on staircase!! C shed a few tears and J lightly patted them away. Any stranger could easilyyyy see the love they have for each other

2. Carly’s veil !!!! One of my fav veils to date! All the little pearls on it and the length of it was so stunning! It truly made the bridals🤌🏼✨

3. When DJ had C + J come back to his setup and gave them full reign to DJ a song!! We had never seen something like that before! Everyone was cracking up and laughing at the random little mixes C + J were adding in! It was so fun!!

Blue hour with Sam + Al🌙

One thing I’ve noticed about blue hour, is when I have to crank my shutter speed down as the light starts to fade, I watch myself getting more and more documentary- capturing the little, slow, intimate moments + details. Really felt that during Al + Sam’s engagement session + I’m not made with how it turned out✨🤩

I was hanging with some friends in a coffee shop talking about bar photos the other day! I showed them some pics from Mackenzie + Jack’s stunning wedding day at the Wrigley Bar and literally got scolded for not having them posted on the feed yet!! This was only pt 1 of Evie + Charlie’s engagement session!! The other half consisted of popping champagne, eating cake, running through the streets, and grabbing some champagne at a local bar! We all had so much fun, we sat down and grabbed espresso martinis later together that night!

That’s one of my fav things about engagement sessions: getting to know each other and becoming homies!! It makes it all the more fun for Paul and I to be there documenting your big day!!🤍🥂
