Congratulations to our 2023 Given2Fly winner Mays! Mays came to the USA as an refugee from Iraq. After struggling with learning English and facing homelessness she decided to start her own business doing makeup for weddings and special occasions. She is a super talented makeup artist as her work here shows but she lacked the funds to buy supplies. Thanks to the Given2Fly scholarship she was able to buy high quality makeup to run her own business and help her family meet their expenses . We will continue to mentor Mays and help her market her business so it becomes a big success!! She is truly Given2Fly 💋💄🩷
