Working as a barista and creative head baker at Bunbury’s Coffee Shop, Sydney spends her free time painting and drawing, with an interest in calligraphy. For a long time, bikers and cyclists coming in from the city have found respite and a much needed pick-me-up at Bunbury’s—(:and a bathroom;). As Piermont is the halfway point between the George Washington Bridge and Bear Mountain, cyclists stop here for some rest and chats before heading across the river once more and then again on their way home. Not to mention, Lance Armstrong also once stopped here for a bite of our cinnamon chip scone and a cup of joe on one of his rides along the Hudson.
