Potatoes- potatoes- potatoes

Our potatoes have taken off and look good besides the potato bugs have found them. We have been battling trying to pick them off by hand and organic methods.

Has anyone used diatomaceous earth?
Yesterday we applied the food grade organic shell dust to the tops of the potatoes. I sure hope it works. I think we have a hold on the potato beetles now, so I hope for some nice potatoes.

All the tomatoes and peppers are planted in the garden. I got a handful of cherry tomatoes- taste like summer😎. Garlic scapes we’re coming out so we had to pick them off the tops of the garlic. You can pickle, ferment and dry them for powder- basically use it like you would garlic. The dill is coming up nicely. The onions are getting bigger.

My Mom and I want to give a big Thank You for all of you who stopped in at our farm to buy plants and flowers from us.
It is nice to help out a local business and buy local.
I found some blooms around the farm, I just had to share. Also, found baby eggplants- pretty darn cute.
Dad helped me cultivate the onions and potatoes between the rows today.
Looks so nice dad,
I did get my steps in following and watching that you didn’t tear up the rows with the Massey.
