We had an amazing time at the 2023 Arm Drop Revival honoring Kent Rose. We met and laughed with some incredible kid’s while painting faces and raising money for animal rescue. Sorry I haven’t been on here for a bit. It’s been work, work, work! That being said I would really like to share with you a wonderful Act of Kindness…
A few weeks ago I had set up a face painting booth (Paint 4 Paws) at a local festival. Mind you this is one of the main sources of income for our rescue. At the end of the evening this sweet couple walked up to me and said, we love that you are giving your talents to rescue animals. We too are craftsmen, and love animals, and would like to donate a wooden bowl for you to sale to help support the animals. Immediately lump in my throat and I couldn’t talk. So I just gave her a big hug and said thank you. Once I accepted this beautiful hand carved wooden bowl from Eugene and Mary Branham we became instant friends exchanging animal stories. The bowl sold for $65.00 in my little Paint 4 Paws shop.
I couldn’t help but think all the skill and time it took to make that bowl. Is that the kind of bowl Jesus ate from? The ones you made yourself.
