CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH from MD Anderson
We are celebrating here in the Camp. Feeling grateful, blessed and very thankful. Yesterday we got confirmation that Cindy's ( ) MRI results from MD Anderson are all negative and that's a great thing. This may be lengthy but please take a moment and read when you can.
Most of you don't know this about Cindy but in Oct of 2014 a MRI had shown a massive tumor in Cindy's skull base.(Pic 2) (A giant cell granuloma) A bone eating tumor. There has only been 4 cases in the USA documented where this type of tumor had ever been found in the skull base. (Very rare)
She had emergency surgery in November 2014. They didn't know beforehand exactly what the extent of the damage was until they got into the surgery.
As a result they found that the tumor had spread to her brain and ear canal and all of the tumor was not successfully removed resulting in a second and more evasive surgery at MD Anderson in Houston in May of 2015 (pic 4). In short after the second she had large portion of her skull removed, she lost her hearing in her right ear. She has a titanium mesh replacing the portion of skull removed (pic 3)
She had to have muscle taken thigh to fill the whole in her skull where it had been removed (to graphic to show)
For the first 5 years post surgery she had to do do an MRI to make sure the tumor had not returned. Now we get to do it biyearly.
Yesterday now 10 years later we are thankful to report there are no signs of it reoccurring so we celebrated with some great Mexican food and a margarita.
We cherish every minute of every day we have together and live life to the fullest. She inspires me in so many ways and to see all this incredible woman does day in and day out often leaves me speechless. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know and if you know her you get to see how truly genuine and caring she is just ask our athletes that are family to us. .I could go on and on but I hope her story inspired some of you to never quit, never give up and stop long enough every day to recognize all the things you are thankful for.

Our beautiful Iron Princess on stage last weekend at the Miami Beach Pro. Every time this girl steps on stage it's a better version of an already amazing version. So many reasons to be proud of the girl.

Our Iron Princess took some positive feedback from the judges last weekend made some changes and is stepping on stage at the in Miami this weekend. We couldn't make the trip but will be watching the Livestream and cheering from home. We love you Hope and we know you will be amazing today.

What an amazing time last weekend at where to of our amazing athletes and took the stage together in the same show. We have watched these beautiful women evolve at the pro level and are so incredibly proud of them. They continue to improve and are so committed at following their dreams to make it to the Olympia stage. They keep climbing the ladder at the elite level and bringing better versions of themselves each time they step on stage. We love you girls are feel beyond blessed that you represent Camp Muscle Bodywear. So much more ahead for these athletes and we love being part of their profession journey and love even more the personal relationships we have and the memories we keep making.

Our throwback Thursday this week takes us back one year ago this weekend where Camp Muscle athlete stepped on stage at the getting 6th place in a stacked field of amazing women. We are packing our bags to head back this weekend to head back to see Jess rock the stage again. This trip is extremely special because Camp teammate will be stepping on stage with Jess. 2 Camp girls in 1 show. We couldn't be more excited. Of course we are a little bias but we gave to say both girls are bringing their best look of their careers so far to this one. Let's go girls!! See you tomorrow
