In honor of the first week of Christmas in July I’m sharing two of my favorite designs from last year 🎄

My beautiful friend Juli from Originals by JAH made this beautiful bear wreath attachment…but I doubt I’m going to put it on a wreath, because it’s just too pretty and I don’t want to mess it up!!!! Thank you Juli!!!!

This isn’t a wreath…but just a little something I’ve been working on…

I’ve got a ton of supplies…but it never seems to be the supplies that I need at the time!!

Everyone needs a little Glam on their Door!!

To my Glam Family,

I haven't been giving my business my all, causing ups and downs. The flower wreaths weren't a hit locally as I thought they would be and I didn't prioritize Etsy like I should have.

My contest was unsuccessful, and I'm still trying to understand who reported me as Spam and a possible Scam.

I've felt like my business is a failure, but I'm committing to posting more, even with minimal engagement and I’m also committed to putting more into my business.

So, brace yourselves for more of me!

Because everyone deserves some GLAM on their door!

Just a small name change…we’re now Glam up your Door Boutique as we expand some of our products!!!

So, one of the bigger wreath creators wrote a post about Beyoncé’s new country project, he asked what people thought about. At first the comments were shocking to me, but then the more I thought about it the more I realized nothing has changed.
As an African American wreath creator, sometimes I don’t feel like I’m welcomed to craft spaces because of the color of my skin, before they see my work.
Most of the commenters had never heard Beyonce’s music but didn’t want to because they didn’t like her. She’s being judged before it’s even heard.

I know that sometimes Glam up your Door is judged and not invited to certain areas or events because people don’t think I should be there based on how I look and not my work.

Time to dust this off…literally and make some things shake

The wreath world can be such an ugly competitive place sometimes. I will always remain respectful to others, however I will not let others talk down to me or down my work. I work hard on my wreaths and my business, and I’m thankful for all the helpful people I have met!! And I am thankful for my customers!!
