What the job includes:
- Helping clients, typically seniors or people with disabilities, live a rewarding daily life
- Assisting clients with basic daily tasks, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, hygiene, and errands
- Being a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion
- Being attentive to clients’ needs and alerting necessary parties if there is a safety or health risk

What you need to be successful:
- Experience as a caregiver helpful but not required—we can train you
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn quickly
- Compassion for and interest in people from all walks of life
- Dependability and integrity
- Physical ability to complete the demands of the job

Kendrick Cares started out with Samara Kendrick being a certified nurses assistant for 14 years. Samara became a certified nurse assistant because her late grandmother was placed in a nursing home and was treated so poorly Samara wanted to become the change. Samara has gained a lot of knowledge in the healthcare field and a lot of experience based off of her experience she has been in facilities such as long-term companies, nursing homes, hospitals, psychiatric units, assistant living, group homes and residential treatment facilities. With all of the knowledge and experience that has been gained Kendrick Cares is confident that they will be able to deliver top quality care to your loved ones. Samara wants to carry on her legacy by delivering care to the elderly, sick and those with disabilities with passion and respect.
