After nearly two long years, Angelo's Hoagies is proud to announce the COMEBACK!!! Stay tuned, share the word, and get ready for the return of the area's most authentic hoagies! Our mission is the same, and we are coming back to help more people in need than ever before with our Hoagies for the Homeless drives!

First off, we would like to apologize for the absence on Social Media for the last few months. After our last event on July 4th, we were unfortunately told we had to shut down momentarily. We want to give the biggest thank you for all of those who had ordered either a Hoagie to be delivered, or attended one of our 2 Cheesesteak events. Together, we were able to supply over 400 Hoagies to homeless individuals in the surrounding Pittsburgh area over our short period of time.
This is not a farewell, this is a statement to inform everyone that Angelo's Hoagies is officially in the process of opening a location. As we don't have a specific date at this time, stay tuned for updates and remember to share the word so we can continue making a difference among our communities.

We had an amazing turnout yesterday for our first ever Philly Cheesesteak Event!! We sold out, which means over 100 Hoagies will now be given out! That brings our total count to almost 300 Hoagies donated so far 💚🤍❤ We want to continue this mission and keep finding ways to give back to our communities. The appreciation for those who have ordered and supported runs deep, as we are so thankful for everything. We hope (know) you loved our Cheesesteaks and can't wait to schedule the next event 🥖🔥💯

If you're joining us THIS SATURDAY @ Burky's Tavern - Greensburg, PA for our first ever Philly Cheesesteak Event, don't forget to hook up Burky's awesome bartenders Seth Stangroom and Alex Harshell. They'll be serving drinks all day and into the night as we look to host a great event. We're also preparing for live music in the day (weather depending) and DJ Lexie at night! Bring your friends and family and come enjoy a real Philly Cheesesteak with us!!!

After 3 of our Hoagies for the Homeless drives, we've been grateful to be able to hand out 181 Hoagies to those in need so far! Help continue adding to this number by joining us on Saturday, May 8th, for our 1st ever CHEESESTEAK EVENT. We will be set up at Burky's Tavern - Greensburg, PA from 12pm-10pm serving you REAL Philly Cheesesteaks. We can't wait to see you, don't forget to bring along friends and family so they too can enjoy what a Philly Cheesesteak is supposed to taste like.

Wow what a busy weekend, ordering went very well! We are excited to announce that we can give out 100 Hoagies!! For everyone that ordered, we hope (know) you enjoyed our Hoagies and we can't thank you enough for supporting the cause. For those who shared and helped promote our posts, thank you. We can't wait to come back even bigger and continue our goal to put a dent in hunger!!

All Westmoreland County orders will be delivered this Saturday, February 27th, and all Allegheny County orders will be sent out Sunday, February 28th. What a first week! We couldn't be more proud of how many orders we received. As promised, we were able to hand out 30 Hoagies this past weekend in the Pittsburgh Area! We hope everyone who had a chance to try our delicious Italian Hoagies, loved them. Here are pictures of some of the orders we sent out (all veggies come on the side), and the 30 Hoagies we made for the homeless. Thank you again for the support and we can't wait to make more for you in the near future. If you live in the Pittsburgh region, expect your delivery the same day you order. If you reside in Westmoreland county, deliveries will be arranged for Wednesday, February 10th. We use a collection of fine meats, locally sourced produce, and savory bread baked in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As of 2020, Pennsylvania had estimated over 13,000 were experiencing homelessness. More than 900 of which were Veterans, 700 were aged 18-24 years old, and 1,900 were individuals experiencing chronic homelessness. In Pittsburgh alone, there are an estimated 800 that are homeless on any given day. Our goal running this drive is to support those who are in need. While this is a small step in the pursuit to end hunger, we envision more and more contribution to this cause with your help. Please take the time considering these statistics and visit our page to see how you can lend a hand (Hoagie) to those who need it most. Thank you for the early support you have shown so far.
