Happy National Caregivers Day! Fiffik Law Group, P.C. put together this awesome list on how to thank a caregiver today (and every day!) π At Hope Grows, cultivating caregiver wellness is our Golden Rule, and we are so proud to be able to provide a well-deserved break at our Iris Respite House Bed & Breakfast.

THANK YOU to all of our amazing Caregivers π₯°
Today, on National Caregivers Day, let's honor the unsung heroes who devote themselves to caring for others.β€οΈHere are 5 meaningful ways to say THANK YOU to the caregivers in your life:
1οΈβ£ Simply say thank you β a greeting card, a gift, or a few words of appreciation can mean the world.
2οΈβ£ Spend time with a caregiver β show them they're not alone by offering your presence and support. Listen to them; visit them; validate them.
3οΈβ£ Make it possible for caregivers to take a break β offer respite care or assistance to give them much-needed rest. Check out what the nonprofit organization Hope Grows has to offer!
4οΈβ£ Actively demonstrate your support β whether it's running errands or lending a listening ear, show your solidarity in tangible ways. Cook them a meal, run an errand for them, or offer to clean their home.
5οΈβ£ Encourage a caregiver's self-care β remind them to prioritize their own well-being amidst their caregiving duties. Take them to a movie or get them a spa gift certificate!

Happy June!! Our focus of the month is πΈπππΈπΆππ΄ππΌππ: A strong belief that something will happen or be the case in the future. Come join us for our Powerful Tools for Caregivers first virtual (free) class starting tomorrow, 4/12, at 1 p.m. with Tracey Condosta, MSCP, and Phyllis Rupert, MSEd!
This class helps caregivers care for themselves while caring for their care-receiver. During the six weeks, caregivers are able to improve their self-care behaviors, emotion management and self confidence. Not only do caregivers learn tools that they can use outside of the class, but there is also an amazing level of peer support with other caregivers in the program!
This program has two different sections - one for adults caring for an older adult and the second section is for parents who are caring for children with special needs.
RSVP by emailing [email protected]. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
