Tonight! The live debut of a brand new joke as part of the 50 First Jokes of 2024 event! I've got 2 minutes to kill it with a bit about Rammstein. Can I pull it off?!

I got a small batch of Limited Edition first run 11"x17" black back posters on the way. It's New Years or whatever, so if you want one, it's first come first serve. Comment or pmdm.

I resolve to be a bigger problem and a whole lot louder and a public nuisance and just generally a much worse person as a whole in the new year. I wish you all the health and happiness that you deserve. I'm reminded of an old lyric by Gary Glitter, "....hey." And I think it still rings true today. It's the Year of the Big Bear, bi***es! Let's get weird!

The word is out... and while we're still getting all of our promos and clips and material online, we're too excited not to announce that we are applying to be a part of in 2024! After a very successful run in Ireland and Scotland earlier this month (and after being badgered by a promoter to apply) we are officially looking for venues to book the Big Bear for August in Edinburgh! So, if you know a place for Fringe or you got a place that's looking for a visceral, high-energy comic, then you need yourself a Big Bear Buchko! 🧸 #2024

There is no excitement greater to me than the last 5 minutes before you take the stage.

Comedians don't get tickets, they just give impromptu and unpaid performances!

Almost the whole performing crew on stage from this show at Rusty Gold. I wish we made it a regular thing to get photos done together at the end of the night, because this is the kind of s**t I want to be able to look back when I'm old.

Throwback to the hardest crowd I've had so far. The only chuckle I got was from when I went off-script and talked about wanting to f**k the comedian that was on before me. Every single one of us bombed that night. I CAN STILL HEAR THE SILENCE! 😆😂🤣

The set that started it all... I took a 15 minute open slot at Tonidale with 2 hour notice and no prepared routines. I did a quarter hour of moderately filthy kink jokes, got a ton of laughs and applause, and then haven't been invited back since. Hard not to consider this a success!

It's all about BRANDING! And while I liked using my given first and middle name, it was just way too generic. "Christopher James" might as well be Forgettie McNamington. So f**k it, I'm using my nickname and my last name for comedy moving forward. Y'all gon' remember Big Bear Buchko!
