And here they are – this year’s competitors for the title 2024 Boilermaker Apprentice of the Year! Contestants will face off at Local 26 in Savannah, GA in August in a variety of written and hands-on tests that cover EVERYTHING they learned during their four-year apprenticeships. A Team Award is also up for grabs, which is presented to the region with the best scores in team rigging and team welding.

To get this far is a huge accomplishment, as contestants first had to compete against the best apprentices from their regions at the regional competitions. Congratulations to all the competitors that stepped up nationwide to represent their locals, and best of luck to those who made it to the nationals! We will see you in August!
