Happy !
This one was a challenge! I have stayed away from using color because it’s outside of my comfort zone. I couldn’t resist trying with this guy! Turns out, the process was so fun. Lots of layers and layers. Lots of dust 😷. Lots of do overs. But lots of joy too.

Inspiring…
Go into the arts. I'm not kidding. The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something. ~Kurt Vonnegut

Returning to drawing humans instead of just dogs. I do like dogs better 😂 but this was fun and challenging and messy and all the good stuff.

Call it getting older, but I enjoy practicing. I never had the patience before. These took me a few hours each. Not quite right, but I’m enjoying the process ❤️
