Holy wow! I’ve just completed 100 pieces of art.

Some tiny plants waiting for spring. I am hoping to do a big shop update soon but I’ve been feeling very unmotivated. I think this weekend will turn things around though! I have some big canvases I need to work on. Something I’ve been wanting to try recently. Big art! This plant in my house is up to something.

An experiment. How do we feel about this pattern? I’ve spent many hours trying to get it right and I have a ton of ideas for other ones. It’s still not perfect but I think it’s close. There is freezing rain today so I’m convinced we aren’t done with hat season yet.

I was experimenting with a feature on my knitting machine I hadn’t ever used. It allows me to make a single “picture” using the punch card into a knit. Here’s a funny face I made to test it out. What do you think? I want to do other designs that use this as a feature but I haven’t decided what yet.

Spring is coming! Although I’m anticipating another last winter freeze... I’m enjoying the sunny and warmer weather today. It’s great for the plants.

Integrating new yarns and a new pattern is a delicate process with lots of decisions to be made.

Here’s a scrunching in action! How’s everyone doing? I’ve been a little out of touch here. I’ve been hunkered down on a large corporate order and I’m happy to report it’s done! So I’ll be posting more regularly in the coming weeks. I have been cooking up a new hat design that I’m hoping to release before winter is over. Stay tuned.
