The Dia de los Mu***os holiday is a lovely tradition, filled with beautiful symbols, traditions, and imagery.

Two of the pumpkins in our patch pulled out all the stops this Halloween! Lucy as Lucille Ball, giving out candy to her neighborhood kids, and Kristin as the holiest OG winemaker, pontificating on wine at the winery where she works🍷

Back home and in the office after much travel💚 As expected, I am inundated with phone calls and quote requests and I'm carefully working through things. I appreciate your patience. Leaf and cat photos for attention. Have a very happy Halloween! 🎃🌎

The best part of Jamaica is the people. On the way to the airport, Trissan made a special stop for us at the Rose Hall Great House and at her favorite local place Jamaican patties 🇯🇲 We'll see if the patties make it home 😉

After a quick 12 hours in the US, I'm heading to Jamaica this morning to check out some adults-only resorts. Last night was direct at the TWA Hotel at JFK✈️❤️🇯🇲

A very magical place. I am especially grateful to our hosts for surprising us with a trip here today after yesterday's weather did not cooperate. The Green and the Blue lake.

Final full day on the Azores. Breakfast first before some touring with our local guide, Tiago.  Today we will visit a tea plantation, followed by some scenic viewpoints, stopping by Furnas caldera/lake, have a traditional lunch cooked entirely in the ground, then on to the botanical garden, followed by a dip in the hot springs. Farewell dinner with wine pairing tonight.

I made a new friend tonight! He welcomed me to his owner's restaurant🐾 Did he do this because he knew I would give him a piece of Brazilian steak?! Maybe. But he did walk me back to my hotel!

Morning drive to the airport to catch an island hopper flight to Pico. Sad to leave Terceira but looking forward to another island in the Azores.
