We are so sad to share the passing of our beautiful Daphne. She had a beautiful and peaceful passing with her family, good friend, and her buddy Drakey by her side. Sweet dreams, sweet girl. You are so loved. We will be changing our donations for the Daphne Collection of hand bags. $15 dollars from each bag sale will be going to the Donna/Max Fund at Kingston Animal Hospital and $15 will also be going to The Sampson Fund. More bags will be posted as we create them, but if you’d like a custom bag, please DM us.

Our first piece from The Daphne Collection is complete! This cute little tote is crocheted with jute for the main body of the bag, with a wine and black trim and handle. The perfect size for stashing a water bottle, treats, and a collapsible bowl when you take your best friend on an adventure. Daphne was ready for the Christmas day win in her new green and gold sweater that she got for Christmas. Her favorite human received 2 Packers stock certificates so of course as a Packers “owner,” she needed to dress the part. Want a sweater for your pup in your team colors? DM us now!

Coming soon… The Daphne Collection will be focusing on handbags and market bags. We’ll still be donating a portion of the sale of each piece in this collection, but these donations will be going to one of two funds that help pet parents with veterinary costs. The Donna/Max Fund at our primary Veterinary Clinic will receive a $5 donation from each piece sold, as will The Sampson Fund which provides assistance for many veterinary clinics across the Cape Cod area. All other proceeds from the limited edition Daphne Collection will be used to support our beautiful pup’s oncology treatment needs. Our beautiful girl and ambassador, Daphne, was just diagnosed with subcutaneous hemangiosarcoma. We are cautiously optimistic for a good prognosis pending chest xrays, abdominal ultrasound, and visiting the veterinary oncologist. To help fund our best girl’s upcoming bills and to be able to do everything we can to make sure she’s happy and healthy, we’ll be posting more sweaters we have immediately available to ship along with adding some new pup wear and human products to our offerings. Who else loves how excited new Alpha One Propper Pupper Henry is about his new sweater? His mom, Andrea, said he was so happy to have his sweater put on as soon as it came in the mail! We just love his exuberance! 😂

Our newest Alpha One Propper Pupper, Frankie! His mom, Megan, wanted a sweater to help keep this cute little guy warm this winter. How perfect is this aqua color on him? We did goof and make the sweater a smidge too short for his Dachshund mix body length, but we guarantee fit and are making this little guy a longer sweater to keep his back warm too! If you order a sweater and it’s not quite the right fit, we’ll redo it and you can donate the original or give it to a friend with a similar sized pup!

Check out the handsome Finn, our newest Alpha One Propper Pupper! His sweater was made in colors to match a Jeep owned by his humans, Irene and Matt. We can’t wait to see him in the Jeep- those pics to come. Thanks for letting us dress Finn, he looks great!

We’re sorry for the lack of posts this week, we’re a little under the weather here at Breathless Crochet headquarters. Good thing for healing puppy cuddles! We’re getting a couple sweaters ready to drop off at the post office Monday when we’ve had a little more time to recuperate, and have a couple more sweaters to finish up for next week.
