But what does this mean for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Columbia Basin?

We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to the incredible generosity of Group 14 and their partners, over 600 local youth at our school-based locations will now have a safe place to go!

This support means our members will receive mentorship, homework help, meals, and other vital programming. We are deeply grateful for this critical funding, which will help us operate our school-based locations through the first part of the school year, until December 2024.

This funding was suddenly and unexpectedly needed, and we cannot express how thankful we are to Group 14 and their partners for coming together so quickly to make this happen. 20 year retired First Sergeant Army Ranger; associate's degree in general arts; Manhattan Area Technical college Certificate in welding; Federal OSHA Certified as a Specialist in Safety and Health in both General industry and Construction.

Key Achievements:
Recognized as ‘Apprentice of the Year’ 2nd year.
Certified Rigger and Signalman through ANSI, OSHA 30, AER/CPR certified, Certified in multiple welding process’s.

What do you love about our industry?
The thing I love most about our industry is the satisfaction of knowing that I am building the infrastructure of our great country.

What has been your favorite project so far?
Building the first fish bypass system in Cle Elum, WA.
Building multiple Data Centers and our current project of building the first of its kind Battery Plant. Working on all infrastructure projects are my favorites.

What’s something about you that most people don’t know?
My wife served as a Chemical Officer in the Army and technically outranks me.

What do you enjoy about your job?
The most enjoyable part of my job is working with people of all walks of life that enjoy working together regardless of differences in their own personal lives.

What advice do you have for someone interested in your field?
Work hard and enjoy it, don’t ever quit!
