While rest breaks can be crucial for recovery during heavy weights, I always prefer lighter weights with little to no rest. More volume equals more muscle. Lighter weights equal a more fresh and less beat down body. Less rest equals better conditioning and lower body fat. Less rest also equals more time in your day to do cool sh*t or build on your career... Needless to say, I rarely do those 2-3min rest breaks ;) _ Evaluate your priorities before making a training plan. All those little factors can mean SO much in the end.
