Always love me some swimming turtles !!

The branch wreath is firmly attached to the round wood backboard. Turquoise water and reeds ( which my phone makes different colors from the sun... ah well.. they actually ARE both turquoise ! )
Using only sand and shells I find myself on my beach, I wound h**p nautical rope in between the shells and used sand with colored resin for the 'water'.

I really like how it turned out !

Two new Beachscapes ready to go before I leave...

On the left is a 16" wood round that has been crafted and transformed into a lovely beachscape wall hanging for your porch, deck or outdoor patio. Beach sand from South Florida as well as shells from Puerto Rico and Mexico are displayed in a unique beach setting.
Hand crushed sea glass act as foaming waves crashing onto the shoreline as well as white crested waves in the ocean.

On the right is a smaller 9" round , featuring the same South Florida beach sand and shells from up and down the east coast. Soft white sand from Mexico forms the sandbar like ripples in the turquoise resin ' ocean water '.

I've been wanting to do something with my old photo for years now...
The crease down the middle shows the age of it, but I don't care.

Repurposing terracotta pots into a Coastal Lighthouse is my new favorite thing!

She has glow in the dark sea glass for ' ocean water ' and a pretty cool double light!

Handmade Scallop Shell Sea Turtle -

This wall hanging would be a wonderful addition to any coastal themed porch, patio, deck or anywhere in the home!

Made entirely by hand using scallop shells collected off the beach as well as small coquina shells for the upper fins and lower legs.
Natural beach sand borders with some sea flora complete the look of this turtles sojourn to the sea.

The entire turtle is coated with a clear resin to help ensure protection against any fading or deterioration.
